"Mabuti naman ate at malapit nang gumaling yang pasyente mo. Sobrang excited na kami sa pag-uwi mo. Lalo na si mama. Alam mo naman yun sobrang mahal na mahal ka."
Napa-ngiti na lang ako. Ilang linggo rin kaming hindi nakapag-usap ni Jaja dahil sobrang focused talaga ako sa pag-tulong kay Bea.
"Alam ko naman yun, Ja. Kahit ako naman, sobrang miss ko na kayo ni mama. Nakakamiss kaya yung mga luto ni mama. Tsaka sayang at hindi ko naabutan yung graduation mo. Hindi tuloy tayo kompleto." I sadly said.
"It's okay ate. I understand na profession mo yan. And that is more important right now. Hindi naman ako masyadong nalungkot na wala ka sa graduation ko. Hello? Ikaw na nga ang nag-paaral sa akin, magrereklamo pa ba ako?" she even raised her eyebrow kaya natawa na lang ako.
My sister knows how to make me happy. Nakaka-miss na talaga tong tabaching-ching na to.
"Tsaka parang hindi naman tayo incomplete eh. Kuya Nico attended kaya. And he's a part of the family. Siya na lang ang naging representative mo."
I nodded and smiled at her. Nico is consistently cheking my family. I'm glad that he oftenly visits my family. Based sa kwento ni Jaja.
"Nga pala ate, kailan niyo balak magp--"

I heard someone outside my room.
"Ahh, Ja, teka lang ha? Mamaya na lang ulit tayo mag-usap. Tatawagan na lang kita. Bye."
Tsaka ko pinatay yung tawag.
Dali-dali ko namang binuksan ang pintuan and I saw kuya Loel with a worried face.
"Kuya? Okay ka lang?"
"Ako ayos lang. Pero si Bea, hindi."
"Po? Anong nangyari?"
Bigla naman itong bumaba kaya sinundan ko ito. Napunta kami sa sala kung nasaan sina tita Det at tito Elmer na nakapalibot kay Bea.
"Tito? Tita? Ano pong nangyayari?"
"Jho, Bea's in extreme pain eh. She cannot explain how she feels right now." tita Det explained.
Kaya chineck ko agad si Bea. I knelt down para maka-level ko ang mukha niya.
"Bea? Are you okay?"
Nakapikit siyang umiling sa akin na parang namimilipit sa sakit.
"Okay, tell me...what's hurting you?"
"I.....I c-can't b-breathe..." she tried to complete what she is saying while clutching her chest.
I looked at her and immediately figured out why it is happening to her right now.
"Jho? Ano?" tito Elmer asked.
I stood up and looked at them. "It's normal tito. She's experiencing chest pain. That's why she can't breathe. Ahm, kukunin ko lang po yung stethoscope ko to check her heartbeat."
I went back to my room and grabbed my stethoscope then went back to the living room.
"Okay, Bea... Relax lang ha? I'm going to check your heartbeat. Kalma lang. Inhale...exhale...inhale...exhale...inhale...exhale."
