I was staring at the giant sequoia tree that my family and I used to stay whenever we go to this park.
"Isabel!"
I looked at the person who called my name and smiled at him.
"Are you already done looking at that big tree?"
I nodded smilingly at my kuya.
"Then let's go! We don't want to be late on our flight 'ayt? Tara na!"
He ran back to the car.
I stared once more at the tree as a sign of goodbye.
I grabbed my phone from my pocket and clicked the message icon.
"I'm going home. 🙂"
After I sent it, I closed my phone and then brought it back to my pocket.
I turned my back from the tree then started to run towards the car.
Run.
I can't believe I am finally running.
"Okay! Let's go!" I energetically said as soon as I entered the car.
"Masyado ka namang excited Bea ha?" my kuya said.
I just gave him a small smile.
Cause I'm coming home.

"Balik po kayo sa susunod na linggo for Pipo's last therapy, okay? Thank you!" I happily told my patient and his family then they went out of my office.
I sighed and closed the door and sat prettily in my swivel chair and sniff the air coming from my favorite air freshener.
I closed my eyes and tapped my fingers on my table.
"I am blessed you became a part of my life, Jho. You fixed me. You brought me back to how I was before. And even if we just have a borrowed time, I won't regret falling in love with you. All I ever regret was that, I could never have you in my life forever because I was late."
"I was one hundred twenty-six million, two hundred twenty-seven thousand, seven hundred four seconds too late."
I immediately opened my eyes and even rubbed my fingers in it.
Napa-buga na lang ako sa hangin.
"Ano ba Jhooo. Mag-focus ka sa present!" I said tsaka mahinang sinampal-sampal ang mga pisngi ko.
*bzzztttt*
My phone suddenly vibrated indicating that there is a notification.
There are messages.
