FOUR

Kim brought in a girl named Olivia, who went to Nadia's school she was 14 and she was in the same class as Hailey so me and Jay questioned her.

"Have you seen her before?" Jay said handing her a picture of Hailey.

"Yeah that's Hales, she's a year older and we're are kinda friends, why am I here is she okay or did I do something?"

"Hailey was killed early this morning." I closed my eyes and the girl started to cry.

"Did she talk to you before the school day was over?" I asked the little girl.

"Um I asked to go to her house but she had plans with another girl, and I guess I got jealous I guess. I forget the girls name started with an N she's a year younger than me but I can't remember." She said continuing to cry.

Jay pulled out the picture of Nadia and I tried to hold back the tears. "Yeah that's her I forget the name."

"Nadia! Her name's Nadia." I said rising from my chair.

The little girl nodded her head and then aksed "How did you know that though?"

"She's our daughter and she was out with Hailey she isn't dead but she was kidnapped too." Jay said touching me and motioning for me to come and sit. I took a deep breath and kept asking questions. "Do you know anyone who would wanna hurt her?"

"Hailey said this one guy that was a friend of her dad's wouldnt leave her alone she said he kept touching her." I got up from my seat and left the room heading to the unit office. I explained to the team what the girl told us and Hank sent me and Jay and Kevin out. I was just hoping Nadia was still alive wherever she was. Kevin pinged the guys phone and it looked like an old wharehouse. We stayed silent, and then heard a loud scream. I ran towards the noise screaming Nadia's name. We got our guns ready. And then Kevin kicked the door open and sure enough Nadia was in there and so was Hailey and these 2 guys that looked in their 20's. "Let me see your hands put them up! Put em up!" Kevin screamed as I screamed the same thing and then they pulled out their guns.

"Daddy!" Nadia screamed as Jay ran to her. Kevin and I shot the guys, and they fell fast to the ground. Then I ran to Jay and Nadia and started to rip her from the rope. She had blood all over her. "You're okay baby you're okay. We're here, were here." I said starting to cry.

"They killed her!! Mommy they killed Hailey!!" Nadia said leaning on my lap as Jay and I held her close. I couldn't help but cry but she was okay, she was okay now.

We took her to med and then Remy called Jay's cell and he explained to her what happened to Nadia. And we all waited in the waiting room while Jay stepped outside and informed his family. We were waiting for Nadia to be out and get her test results. Ruzek came over to me and put his arm around me, "You did good Lins."

"Makes me miss the job."

"Glad she's okay."

"Thanks Adam."

I saw Natalie come out and then I rose from my chair. "Hey Erin she's gonna be okay, test results came back she wasn't raped she took a bullet to her leg but we managed to get it out and she'll be okay soon." Natalie walked away and I went to Nadia's hospital room.

"Hey mom."

"Hey baby."

"Hailey- I saw it I saw her die right on front of me."

"I'm so sorry baby, but the most important thing is you still get to meet your brother and I still get to see you every day. I just couldn't lose my other Nadia." I went to her and hugged her as she smiled and replied "I love you momma."

"I love you too baby girl."

Nadia she's gonna be okay. We all are. She went through pain seeing her friend die. But she was still here and that's the most important thing to me right now.
