"Jay."
"Hey."
"Um the girls aren't here." I said turning my head.
"No I think we need to talk."
"Okay? What's up?"
"We were married and I loved you, I still do and I think that everything is working out here you know we aren't yelling at each other and I love--"
"Jay um I'm seeing someone."
He stays silent, and just looks at me in complete disbelief. "U--um right so I just came to check on you and see you its been....yeah well I gotta go clean my house up but um tell the girls I love em." Jay said heading to the door and openijg it.
"Jay."
"Hey, its okay. You deserve to be happy Erin." He said walking out. I watched him walk to his car and open the door. Then I closed the door.
I didn't know what he was trying to get at like he wanted to get back with me. He deserved to be happy too.
We both deserved happiness. I had my happiness my kids and Kelly and my job. But I guess the girls weren't enough for him. Did he want to get back together?
