All That Matters 2

NINETEEN

Its Saturday and today Hank gave intelligence the day off. Who knew why. But I knew that I needed a break. I mostly stayed at home all day cleaned my house and drank beer. That was my cure for this seperation with me and Jay. Everybody pretty much lnew things were over for now. We weren't giving up we were just taling a big break. I ate dinner by myself. And then listened to music...by myself. When Nadia was a baby on staurday nights we would always dance and sing together, just us 3 and then when Remy came along we did the same thing. Now they weren't even here to do it.

I heard a knock on the door but I hadn't got any texts from Nadia or Jay. I went to the door and opened it and there stood Kim and Adam.  Kim had chinese food in her hands and Adam had 2 bottles of wine.

"We come to have fun!" Kim says as they come in the house

I laugh and reply "What are guys doing here?" I say smiling hugging both of them.

"We are gonna get drunk and have so much fun!" Adam says following us into the Living room.

20 minutes later we hear the door open and close and Adam pulls out his gun but Kevin comes around the corner and we all laugh.

"Kevin!" I say laughing.

"You didn't think i i wasn't gonna be here for you Erin!" I say as he kisses my head. Then we hear a knock again and Adam runs to get it.

"Look what the cat dragged in!" Adam says as Antonio walks through with a bottle of whiskey.

"Hey!" We all yell.

"You guys didn't all have to do this, thank you!" I siad starting to cry.

"We are all here Erin!" Burgess said drinking more and handing me 2 full cups of whiskey.

I look at her like she's crazy and she replies "What? You arent prego anymore!" Then they all laugh.

"Hey what is this depressing music!" Antonio says getting up and changing the station.

Everyone gets up to dance except me, then Antonio grabs my hand and we all are dancing and laughing, and drinking way more than we needed to.

They did this for me and I loved them for it.

They all got super drunk but I didn't, I was the only one. They all ended up staying the night. Kim and me slept in my bed and Adam slept in Remy's bed even though he could barely fit. Kevin slept in Nadia's bed and Antonio slept on the couch downstairs. I can't beleive they did all this for me. Wow what a family I had.

Remy couldn't sleep because Jay had a weird creaking sound in his apartment, she got of the bunk bed and went into Jay's room she grabbed his phone and called Erin.

I heard the buzzing sound coming from my phone I opened my eyes and it said Jay on it. I answered immediately wondering if something was wrong.

"Jay?"  I said moving from the covers.

"Hey mommy."

"Rem hey honey is everything okay?" I said still sounding asleep.

"Dad has this weird noise in his apratment and I can't sleep."

"Oh well honey maybe you can talk to dad since he's there." I say getting up from my bed and going into Remys room.

"No I just wanna talk to you."

"Okay but I still think you should talk to dad baby." I said checkimg in on Kevin in Nadia's room, as I covered him up with the blanket.

"No can I just talk to you mommy?"

"Of course honey, yes you can talk to me."

"Okay can you tell me a story?"

"Sure um once upon a time there was a girl named Remy and she had a sister and 2 parents that loved her so much and one day she married this famous prince and lived happily ever after. Hey Rem?"

"Yeah?"

"I know you think that everything bad is gonna happen cause me and dad are apart but I promise you, you and Nadi are our babies and we are all gonna be okay. Okay?"

She said nothing.

"Remy?"

Still nothing. She fell asleep.

"Night sweetheart." I said going to the couch and sleeping on the other side by Dawson.

Everything would be okay.
