Jin POV

As we all sit at the little coffeeshop this evening, Yoongi is sat on the far side of the table from me on the opposite side. I'm grateful for the distance, not really feeling overly great in his presence. The boy seems to be nothing more than trouble honestly. And what would expect from someone who's trying to become a rapper? Right? They always have to have that bad boy aura about them, making people feel like they've been through shit and they have a right to just go and beat people up for no fucking reason.

I try not to roll my eyes at the thought as I look around the room, happy to see that the place at least has a decent amount of people here.

"Hey, Jin hyung? Yoongi hyung?"

Hoseok calling for me catches my attention, making me return my gaze back to the group and to the boy in particular. He's got a small smile on his lips as he glances between the two of us.

"Can the two of you come with me for a minute? I need to talk to the both of you." Hoseok requests before standing up from his seat. I frown at this, glancing nervously at the rapper at the end of the table who's gaze is on me.

"Do you need both of us or can you have that conversation one at a time?" Yoongi asks quietly as he looks up at the younger boy. Everyone else at the table has fallen silent, all of them looking between the three of us.

Yoongi's question annoys me, making me feel like he doesn't want to be near me, but I control my annoyance.

"No, I need both of you together, please." Hoseok answers with a small smile before ruffling Yoongi's hair. The rapper rolls his eyes but nods, fixing his hair as he stands up. Reluctantly, I stand as well, following the two of them out of the small coffeeshop.

I'm not particularly fond of the idea of being away from the rest of the group when being around Yoongi, but at least I'll have Hoseok and hopefully this won't last too long. Leading us away from the door, we end up on the far side of the shop front than where we'd been at inside of the store.

"What do you need, Hobi?" Yoongi asks softly, looking up at the younger as he leans back against the brick outer wall. Hoseok smiles at the both of us, and I can already see that he's up to something or another.

"Well, you see, I was thinking. And I came up with a dare for the two of you that I'd like you to complete." Hoseok tells us happily, clasping his hands together in excitement. Though, Yoongi's reaction isn't too much different from mine as it lacks enthusiasm for this 'dare'.

"What kind of dare?" I ask skeptically, eyeing him suspiciously. He grins at this, seeming excited that I asked.

"I'm so glad you asked. The dare, would be for the two of you to date. Just two and a half weeks. No more, and certainly not any less. Convince the others that you're together, nobody would be allowed to know other than me. And I want updates from the both of you daily!" Hoseok explains, seemingly missing the flaws to his alleged brilliant idea.

"And why exactly do you want us to complete this?" Yoongi asks, quirking an eyebrow.

"I'll leave you alone when you're in your studio from now on, and Jin hyung, I'll come over every evening for a month and cook dinners for the three of you, if the two of you can complete this. I just really want to see if the two of you can do it." Hoseok offers, still sounding a little too hopeful for my liking.

"You don't have to do anything for me, Hoseok. I'm just curious as to why you wanted this. I have no problems with a little dare like this." Yoongi answers with a small smile, turning his gaze to direct it at me.

"Hyung, will you please?" Hobi requests with a pout, clearly desperate for this to happen. I rub the back of my neck nervously though, still unsure.

"I really don't know that this is a good idea. I mean, you do realize the two people you're trying to put together here, right?" I counter, hoping I can try to buy my way out of this one. Yoongi chuckles softly, though it almost sounds forced.

"Aww, hyungie. What's wrong with the dare? It's only a two and a half weeks, right?" Yoongi speaks up, a small smirk on his lips. I frown at him, not amused.

"If you happened to have missed the issue with the dare, it's you, Yoongi." I say with a small glare. This only makes his smirk grow for some reason though.

"Why? Afraid you'll fall for me in that time period?" Yoongi questions, still smirking. I scoff at the idea.

"I don't think there's an amount of time that anyone could put us together that would make me fall for you, Min Yoongi." I tell him as I cross my arms over my chest.

"So then two and a half weeks shouldn't be the end of the world, right?" Hoseok chimes in. I groan, knowing I've lost this battle.

"Fine. Whatever. I won't have to be anywhere near you after that." I mutter quietly.

"Perfect! Your time will start tomorrow. Remember, you two have to actually be convincing. The others can't know it's a dare, and I want updates from the both of you each night."
