Yo, it's Max. Sorry for the delay in the update. It's summer and I've been pretty busy lately, but I'm hoping that I can at least update every other day or a couple times a week. Don't worry, I'm not putting this on hold or anything like that because I'm just as excited and on edge on where Logan and Kimberly will end up next.
Anyway...
Imma stop blabbering on and get this chapter started! Sorry for any grammar mistakes.

Logan's POV-
I watch as many trees and buildings go by as we drive down the road. We're taking Jace's car to reach the carnival. It's about an hour drive to get there. And so far, Shannon is passed out in the front seat while Jace is driving and I'm stuck in the back with no form of getting AC.
"You seriously couldn't have gotten a car that has AC in the back seat?" I complain to him. I look towards the rear view mirror and see him roll his eyes.
"Well I'm sorry I didn't get your approval before I got. Besides, I really like this car." he tells me.
"Whatever. Are we almost there?" I ask him.
"Dude. You asked me that like five minutes ago. We still have half an hour to go." he tells me. I sigh and slouch in the seat.
I'm not even entirely sure why I even agreed on going with them in the first place. But if anything, it does give me something to do instead of probably sitting around all day.
I mindlessly watch the scenery as we drive down the road. Eventually, a huge sign advertising the fair or whatever shows up and Jace pulls into the parking lot.
I do have to say, it looks big. A bunch of different rides and games. Maybe this will actually be fun.
"Ok...just gotta wake up Shannon and we'll head on in..." Jace mumbles. I smirk and grab his attention by patting his shoulder.
"Dude. I have an idea, she might hate me for it...but it'll be funny..." I tell him. He raises his eyebrow.
I continue to smirk as I lean forward and slip my fingers in between the little space between the headrest and the seat. I slowly weave my fingers through her hair and poke her right in the center of the back of her neck.
She jumps and yelps which gets me in a fit of laughter as I pull myself away and gently hug my sides because of laughing so hard. She immediately turns around and glares me.
"Logan! Why the hell did you do that?" she asks me, obviously really upset that I did so. I slowly stop laughing and wipe away tears that are in my eyes from laughing so hard.
"Oh, that was great. I had to do it, sorry I'm not sorry." I tell her. She continues to glare at me and sits back in her seat as she huffs.
"You two are unbelievable..." she mumbles under her breath. Jace shakes his head and gives her a more reassuringly look.
"I had nothing to do with this." he simply tells her. She looks over at him and squints her eyes.
"Yeah but you could've stopped her from doing so." she tells him. He sinks in his seat a bit.
"Whelp. I don't know about you two, but I'm ready to go out and have some dumb fun." I tell them as I get out of their car.
The sun is practically trying to kill me with how hot it is. There's hardly even any clouds in the sky either.
Ugh.
This just goes to show that I like colder weather more than hot weather. It's just easier to warm up in the cold than it is to cool off in the heat. And besides, at least in the colder weather, you don't end up all sweaty.
