Logan's POV-

Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years," fills my ears as I make start to make my way down the isle. It's not the original version of the song. Instead, it's the instrumental version with the piano and another string instrument playing the song. The string instrument, a cello, is playing the rhythm while the piano is playing it's melody.

It's a nice piece if you ask me.

Perfect for a day like this.

Our wedding day.

I'm glad today's weather is as perfect as I hoped it would be. Sunny with a few clouds here and there along with a gentle breeze flying through the air, making it not really excruciatingly hot.

It's been a long year. I went back to work roughly a month after I came back home and eventually, we fell into our old, normal routine, but with different things here and there. Instead of dropping Chloe off at daycare, like I remembered doing before I left, one of us would drop her off at school. She's just finished up 1st grade. She'll start 2nd grade in the fall.

I also did eventually get my license again. Which made it easier to get to work instead of having to take buses or relying on dad to give me rides there since it's his company still.

But he's talking about me taking over. Which, I'm not really into now.

If I were to take over, I'd be constantly there and I don't want to pull anymore time away from Kim and Chloe than I already have.

They need me.

As I reach the alter, I turn around and watch as Jace, Shannon, Emily, and Emma make their way up to the alter as well, one by one. Jace is my best man while Shannon is my maid of honor and Emily and Emma are my other bridesmaids. I'm surprised Emma didn't want to be in Kim's bridal party. But, I'm happy that she's here with me. Giving me her support, like she's always have. Even if it was kind of rough in the beginning when I first met her.

"Don't worry Logan...I'll have your back when you faint at the sight of Kim," Jace says, teasing me as he stands next to me. I can only roll my eyes at his comment.

I'm very excited and nervous to see Kim. I haven't seen her since Thursday morning and it's Saturday now. Mainly because Susan really wanted to have our wedding be as traditional as possible. Making me wear a suit and everything, even though I was already planning on doing so because I hate dresses.

But she insisted on having Kim and I be apart for at least a couple days before the wedding.

So, I'm very excited to see her.

And what Jace was saying about me fainting when I see her, that could really happen. I don't doubt it. Or, instead of fainting, geez, it might do something else to me, which would be even worse along with even more embarrassing.

Because even though time still continues to go on, she still has that affect on me. And I'm sure she'll always have that affect on me.

Not like I'll ever complain about it.

She's just so beautiful...in multiple different ways.

"Don't say that...I'm not going to faint," I tell him. It makes him laugh a little.

Even though I say that, I know that it's definitely a possibility.

I look back towards the isle and see Kim's bridal party make their way down the isle now. Ellie, Jack, Rose, and Murphy make their way down and stand on the other side of the alter. Each of them smile at me, telling me that they're happy for me through eye contact.
