Alright. So I've received a lot of feedback and this is what I'm going to do.
I'm going to keep writing the way it is now and finish it off. At some point I will start writing the other version of this that I was thinking about doing, but it'll be a separate book so that way both versions will be up and you can check it out if you want.
For right now, I'll keep writing for this one only. And I really hate to say it, but I'm not going to be updating as much s as I would like to. I know I don't updated a lot as it is. But some family stuff has come up and things are just all over the place.
Anyway...here's the next chapter!

Kimberly's POV-
As I quickly wake up, I force myself to sit up in the bed. I try my best to shake off the urge to fall back asleep and look towards Chloe's crib. She's been doing a lot better with sleeping through the night now that she's 2 ½ months old. But on occasion...she does randomly wake up and throws a fit. Tonight just also happens to be one of those random nights.
Although, I will say this. During our little hospital stay after she was born, she was a complete angel. Didn't cry a whole lot during the night and such. But the second we brought her home, boy did she cry a lot, especially at night. But, it's all apart of the experience.
From beside me, I hear Logan groan as she forces herself to get up as well and sits up as she stretches out her arms and yawns.
"Kim, just lie back down. I got her. She probably needs changing." Logan insists as she looks over towards me.
"But you also got her the last time she woke up," I start. I don't have to be able to see Logan's face to know that she's shaking her head while smiling.
"It's fine. I got her, ok? Just try to go back to sleep while you still can." she tells me as she gets up from the bed.
While I don't get up and go towards her, I stay in bed but don't put any effort in going back to sleep. Instead, I just smile to myself as I watch Logan get Chloe from her crib, holding her in her arms, and saying sweet little things to her as she tries to get her to calm down. Moments later, Logan heads for the door and leaves to head down in the direction of the nursery.
We have a nursery for Chloe, which is just the room next to ours, but we ended up bringing her crib into our room. In a way, it's more convenient to have her in our room for the time being because before, she was waking up a couple times during the night. Now she's sleeping through the night a lot better. So soon, I'm sure we'll move her crib back into the nursery where everything else is.
But I'll have to admit it, it's nice being in the same room as her. It makes it easier as well. Don't get me wrong, we have a baby monitor, so we don't need her in our room. But there's this nice feeling of having her close by.
"There, isn't that better?" I hear Logan whisper as she makes her way back into our room. I can't help but smile as she continues to hold her and tries to get her to fall back asleep.
"So was it that she just needed a change?" I ask her. She looks over at me and a small pout.
"I thought I told you to go back to sleep." she says softly. I shrug my shoulders and finally decide to get up from our bed and walk over towards her to join her and Chloe. I lean my head on her shoulder.
"I'm up now. Besides, I just wanted to make sure everything was ok." I tell her. I can hear her sigh.
"Alright, fine. And yeah, she just needed a change. Now if she can just fall back asleep, we'll be good until at least 6 something." Logan mumbles under breath. I can't help but laugh a little.
