Kimberly's POV-

"Aunt Jenny!"

"Chloe!"

The second we walk through the front door, Chloe makes a run for Jenny and jumps into her arms. Jenny catches her and before I can suggest that Chloe should take her winter boots and coat off, Jenny has Chloe up in the air and is spinning her around. As she does so, Chloe's adorable laughter fills the air.

"Did you miss me?" Jenny asks her. Chloe giggles and nods.

"Uh huh. Did you miss me?" she asks her. Jenny's smile widens.

"Of course I did," she says before she pulls her in for another hug. Chloe returns it and rests her head on Jenny's shoulder.

"Uh Jenny...I get that you want to hug her and all that, but you could've at least waited until she took her coat and boots off," I hear Logan tell her from behind me.

Well...way to be kind of blunt about it. I try to hold in my own laughter though.

"Fine...what a buzz kill," Jenny mumbles under her breath. It makes Chloe raise her eyebrow at her.

"What's that?" she asks her. It returns the smile across Jenny's face as she looks back towards the almost three year old in her arms.

"It means that your daddy doesn't like to have fun," Jenny tells her. It makes Chloe gasps as she turns to face us, mainly Logan.

"Daddy...is that true?" she asks. I look towards Logan and see her jump back a little.

"What? Of course it's not true at all! I love having fun! Here, let's have some fun," Logan suggests as she rushes towards them. The second she takes a step towards them, Jenny smirks and starts heading in another direction, making Logan chase them.

Chloe's giggles echos throughout the house as Logan chases them to try and catch them so she can do whatever she has in mind. I can only shake my head at those kids and proceed with taking off my boots and coat along with my scarf.

With Logan, Chloe, and Jenny fooling around, I make my way towards the kitchen where Susan is busy prepping dinner. Technically speaking, I'm going to head out with Ellie, Jack, and a couple other friends tonight to have some fun. I'm just here to drop off my two kids. They're having dinner with Logan's parents and Jenny.

"Hey Susan," I say as I enter the kitchen. She spins around and smiles when she sees me in the doorway.

"Kim, we're practically family, you can just call me mom," she insists. It makes me smile nonetheless.

Before she can say anything else, the sound of something shattering is heard from outside of the kitchen. It makes both Susan and myself jump and almost immediately, and instinctively, we rush out of the kitchen to whatever room the sound came from.

The den.

When we get there, Logan is sitting on the floor with Chloe in her lap. Jenny is standing next to them. Roughly a foot away from them, is a frame that fell from the mantel that was up against the wall.

"What on Earth happened in here?" Susan asks frantically as she looks towards the frame that shattered.

It's almost kind of funny looking at the three of them. All three of them are looking towards us with expressions that make them look like deer in headlights. Then...

"She did it!" the three of them say at the same time. Logan points to Jenny, Jenny points to Chloe, and Chloe points to Logan.

"What am I going to do with these kids. You would think that the oldest of the three of them would have handled this situation like an adult, but I guess not. And what is this mess all over the wood floor! You two have been dragging your dirty shoes all over the house!" Susan complains as she gestures towards Logan and Chloe and then towards the floor.
