15. Excitement

Logan's POV-

Holy hell.

Holy shit.

Someone please pinch me, I'm afraid I might be dreaming.

I can't believe it. Kimberly's pregnant. To say that I'm excited, would be a complete understate. I'm COMPLETELY THRILLED. Over the moon thrilled. Like I can't stop smiling about it. I've probably said 'you're pregnant...wow...' about a million times since she told me. It was a cute little way on how she did it, too.

I'm so excited.

I've honestly always wanted kids but Kim and I never really talked about kids with one another up until last night. I wasn't sure if she wanted kids. Or at least anytime soon. But it's happening. And I can't wait to meet our daughter or son.

We're going to be parents. There'll be baby clothes, supplies, food, toys, and so much more to buy for the baby. I'm not missing a single second of it. There's no way in hell I'm missing it. I'm going to be there every step of the way. No doubt about it.

The only thing is New York. But it'll still be there. Or I can just forget about New York. It's WAY to far away from Kim and the baby. I can always just go to Wayne state or something like that to finish my studies. Either way. I'm staying.

"I'm so excited to meet you...my little pumpkin. I can't wait to hold you in my arms for the first time and watch you grow up...I'm not going anywhere, ok? Daddy's staying right here with you and mommy." I start as I rub Kim's stomach.

"Can I let you in on a little secret? You're mommy is definitely the most beautiful, gorgeous, and intelligent women I've ever met. I love her so much and we both love you very much, pumpkin..." I say as I continue to rub Kimberly's stomach.

I can hardly even keep my hands off of her stomach. It's so amazing that she's pregnant. I wouldn't doubt it if Kim ends up getting slightly annoyed with how much I'm attached to her stomach.

It's where our baby is...of course I'd be attached.

"That's not really much of a secret...you know?" I hear a soft voice say. I look up from where my hand is touching Kim's stomach and meet her bright eyes. I smile and lean towards her to kiss her.

"Fair point. But...good morning. Did you sleep alright last night?" I ask her. She immediately nods.

"Yes. I did...and waking up was nice too. Seeing you talk to our baby and all..." she says as she leans into me. I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her closer to me.

"You're pregnant...wow..." I say again. I feel her shake a little as she laughs.

"Yup...and you're cheating on me with my stomach." she says jokingly. I laugh this time. She does too.

"No. I'm not cheating...I'm still in awe that we're having a baby. I'm so excited Kim. I really am..." I tell her. She sighs in relaxation.

We lie there in her bed just enjoying each other's company. I ended up spending the night last night. I wasn't about to walk away right after she told me she was pregnant. Kim was more than pleased to see me wanting - practically begging - to stay with her last night.

So we just cuddled. Well...I was showering her stomach with kisses and little sayings to our little one. She was softly laughing for majority of the time because she's just a tad bit ticklish. But it was nice. The second I woke up, I was thrown into amazement again and just had to touch her stomach and talk to our little pumpkin.
