Y'all know who it is. ;)

Logan's POV-
"Thanks again so much for letting me keep my stuff here." I tell Emily as I load the last two boxes into her spare room of her apartment. She shakes her head.
"It's nothing, really. I needed to do something with this room so this is putting it into good use." Emily tells me. I smile.
We both head out of the room and down the hall to the main room of her apartment. She decided to stay here in New York because she just fell in love with it. Mom and dad nearly had a heart attack but they're supporting her.
Which is good.
"So do you really want to head back tomorrow?" she asks me. I nod my head.
"Yeah. It's been a while since I last saw them. Actually, it's been since what? Christmas?" I tell her while laughing. She laughs too.
"Well. I'm sure they'll really like having you back for the summer. But you gotta make sure you're back here in August." she tells me. I nod reassuringly.
"Like I'd forget." I tell her confidently. She rolls her eyes.
"I'm hungry. I'm going to order some pizza. That cool with you?" she asks me. I nod my head immediately. She laughs and goes to order it.
I sigh as I make my way to the guest room and throw myself onto the bed.
It's been a while since I've actually had some downtime and actually spend time with everyone back in Michigan. I'm excited honestly. I can see Jace, Shannon, Quentin, the fam...and hopefully, Kim.
I hope she's doing alright. She hasn't been answering my calls lately.
I haven't spoken to her in years. It's a good thing I have a good memory. Otherwise, I'd probably already forget her soft voice. But hearing it in person would make a huge difference.
She called me a lot. And texted a bunch as well. A lot of them I didn't even read. But I guess that's my fault.
I honestly thought keeping the distance would be good for us. That it would give us time to adapt not being with one another constantly. Maybe it worked. Or maybe it didn't. I guess I won't really know until I see her.
God I missed her.
A lot.
But time just got the better of me and I honestly did forget a couple of times to at least send her a simple text. Or listen to her calls. And when I did decide to text her, I always kept it short and simple. Making up an excuse to not get into a conversation with her.
Call me dumb if you want. But I just think that going these years with hardly any form of contact, is only going to make our reunion even more remarkable.
I can already see it.
I'll knock on her door and she'll answer. We'll both get all emotional and burst into tears as I pull her closer to me. We'll spend the night together. We'll just pour everything out.
I sigh as I roll up and decide to change out of my clothes and into my shorts and the shirt Kimberly got for me for Christmas all those years ago.
I wonder if she still has her ring.
I still have mine. I still walk around with it on my finger.
Just as I finish pulling my shirt over my head, Emily knocks on the bedroom door.
"Logan, dinners here!" she yells from the other side.
I grab a light jacket and leave the room to go to the eating area. Which is really just the living room. Every time I spend the night here, we eat here on the couch and watch tv. Boy if mom could see us, she'd throw a fit.
