Ben [𝚊/𝚗𝚐𝚞𝚢𝚜, 𝚒𝚌𝚊𝚗'𝚝💀] sat on the schools steps drawing on a piece of paper. Y/n walks up to him and sits on a step beside him.
"What are you drawing?" She asks glancing a the paper.
"A liger" he answers back simply.
"What's a liger?"
"It's pretty much my favorite animal," he says as he stops drawing. "It's like a lion and tiger mixed. Bred for its skills in magic"
She hums at his answer and starts to twirl her thumbs in circles.
"Where's your friend?" She asked referring to joe who was usually with Ben everyday.
"I don't know...did you see him today?"
"No" she replies.
"Me either" he says. They sit in silence again before she asks,
"Do you need a ride?"
"No, I missed the bus today but my uncle is coming to get me"
"Oh"
There was a honk and a car pulled up in front of the school. Ben close his binder and stood up.
"See ya" he says before running slightly to the car and leaving.
