y/n and ben both woke up that morning. ben waking up to sunlight at every corner of the room cause of the large windows. it was really used as an office but they decided to make it a guest room. the sun light didn't do any benefit to his pounding headache that he woke up to. y/n's head filled up with last nights memory and ben's filled up with confusion. he didn't know how he got there and she didn't want to mention any of it to ben but she hoped he remembered some of it.

she got out of bed heading towards the bathroom to brush her teeth. being the nice person she is, after she finished everything she looked through her drawer pulling out clothing items that belong to him. he either left them after he would stay for a nigh or two. or she took them without his knowing. she held them in her arms and walked to the guest room. she stood at the door for a while before hesitantly knocking hoping she wasn't know at pure emptiness and that he already left without her knowing.

but he didn't, he was laying in the bed wide awake. he didn't want to make his headache worse. "ben.." y/n called from behind the door. ben tossed the covers off of his body as he made his way to the door while y/n continued to talk. "i have some clothes—well they're your clothes that were left here. just thought that maybe," ben opened the door and looked at the girl in front of him. "you would want to take a shower. there are also extra toothbrushes in the cabinet" she finished saying. she rocked back and forth on her heels for a while before remembering something.

"oh. i have some pain killers. they're in my room" she walked off quickly before he got to say anything. ben went to the bathroom and started a shower. he could hear y/n small footsteps get closer to him. she came around the corner and placed the bottle on the sink. "thank you"
"you're welcome" she left out of the bathroom closing the door behind her. she wanted to talk to him. not tomorrow, not in a few hours, now. though, it would be weird to talk to him while he was in the shower but she felt like he did last night. she wanted to talk to someone too.

ben heard the bathroom door open.  looking through the frosted glass not exactly seeing her face clearly, he could tell it was y/n who walked in. "ben i'm sorry i'm in here right now like it nothing" y/n let out a laugh sitting on top of the sink. "but i wanted to let you know you came over last night. you were at calvin's party then you just showed up at my door unexpectedly. then you came into my room and-"

"i didn't do anything did i?" he asked scared that he did something to her again. "no!" she quickly responded. "no, i didn't mean to put it that way, i'm sorry. you talked to me...and it was like you felt better in a way. of course you were too drunk to remember but i know how you felt,"

the shower water turned off and he opened the door slightly. "can you hand me my clothes?"

she hopped off the sink and passed them to him. "it's okay you can get dressed out here...it's nothing new" she shrugged her shoulders walking back over to the sink.

"you're going through it worse than i am. i told myself that it happened, it's on my life record now and it's on yours too. i don't want to sound harsh but you need to own up to it. not proudly but as a relief, 'i know what i did. it was a mistake..." but it's something we have to life with. a life lesson you might say. it can only get worse unless you make it worse" she looked at over at the shower and sighed. ben still hasn't come out of the shower. "am i still talking to ben or am i talking to a cleaning station?" she joked maybe hoping it would lighten up the mood by a little. the door slid open and revealed ben leaning up again the cold tile.

"that's better now get out" she instructed. he lightly smiled as he took a step out of the shower. he stood against the wall in front of her. they looked at each other before she began to speak again.
