"I can't have you around me all the time, y/n" Roger says. "I'm getting big now. I'm going to be gone all the time and we won't have time for each other"

"Are you seriously trying to break up with me because you're becoming some 'big famous' guy now," y/n says squinting her eyes and crossing her arms. Roger stayed silent. She clenched her jaw and stood up from her chair walking to the door.

"Fine, do you want to show your own way out" She gestured her arm towards it. She turned away to blink away her tears as he stood up walking towards it. She didn't want to cry. If she did she wouldn't know what to cry about since he was just being selfish.

When Roger thought all of this out, the scenario was different in his head. He thought she would understand what he was saying. But everything doesn't go as planned.

Before Queen got big and they were just playing at the pub, Roger would always look over and see a smiling y/n looking straight at him. But now, she wasn't there.

Roger will always get nervous before going on stage and y/n would always be there to help him relax. She also did that when he would get frustrated about something, but now she wasn't there.

Y/n tried her best to deal with the fact that Roger basically threw all of their years together away for fame, which she thought was a very douche thing to do.
She hung out with her friends to keep her mind off him, it worked when she was drunk after partying for 9 hours straight but in the end she'll sober up and start thinking about him again. Thinking about how he was doing and was he having a good time or did he even think about her at least for a millisecond.

He did all of the time. He would always lock himself in a room just so he could think about you in peace.

"Hey, rog we got to rehearse mate" John voice comes through the door. "I'll be out in a few minutes" Roger replied.

"You said that 3 hours ago"

"Ok m, I don't need your comments" he tells a annoyed John who later walked away from the door.
"Why won't he just call the girl?" Brian asked as john walked back into the other room.

"Brian, he broke up with her for this" John moved his hand in a circle referring to everything in the room. "And she probably changed her number by now" he added. Brian went over to the phone and dialed y/n's number.

"𝘺/𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦"
Brian did a small laugh at her usual greeting. "Hey y/n it's me, Brian"

"𝘰𝘩 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘯! 𝘏𝘪, 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨?" She asked with awkwardness in her voice. On the other end, she twirled the wire around her finger wondering if she would wanted to ask about Roger or not.
"𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦--𝘶𝘩𝘩 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘳𝘰𝘨-"

"No" she lies.
"𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘦𝘩𝘩," Brian continued to talk about him anyways. "𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘪𝘯 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘱 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘳𝘶𝘮 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘴 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺. 𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘮"

"No, I'm not talking to that selfish asshole-"
"𝘩𝘦𝘺, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘹. 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘶𝘮𝘣 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘳, 𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴. 𝘏𝘦'𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘴 𝘰𝘧"
After that sentence was said Brian knew he said something idiotic.

"𝘞𝘰𝘸, 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘣𝘳𝘪, 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘪𝘵𝘴' 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘮-"
"Y/n.."
"𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘦, 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥. 𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘪𝘮 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘵𝘺 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘦𝘯"
Y/n sniffles making Brian a little sad that he said that. "I didn't mean it that way of course you're the first thing Roger thinks of, don't cry-"

"𝘪𝘮 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦𝘥, 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵"

Y/n hung up the phone, Turing off her light and turned over in the bed, she stared out of the window and looked at the moon before she closed her eyes.

Roger didn't sleep until later. He stayed up reading one of your poems that you wrote about him, he kept it a long time ago.

"You cuddle me like a kid
holding their teddy bear

You kiss me, like how
the sun kissed your skin
in the summer

You call me 'my love'
like a romantic man in
in the 50's

Just so you know
You're my love too"

He looked down at the paper. A tear falls from his eye and lands on the paper, spreading and soaking it in making that one place weak.
