Odd circumstances (Human!Seidou x Kanea/Karren)

Papers, consistently made up of mostly file reports. Not only reports on other cases and ghouls, but also research to find the Gourmet. The one Houji and Takizawa were working on. It had been just about two years or so. Takizawa felt disappointment in where he was, but he knew that he just had to work harder! He was still a rank 2 investigator, despite fighting in the battle of the 20th ward. Wasn't that field work? Didn't it count? Seidou hasn't been given much field work ever since though, if at all. He just won't complain.

As Seidou looks over the reports, he heard a familiar friendly voice. "Yo, hey Seidou!" Seidou turns his head, not only seeing one familiar face, but two. Hideyoshi Nagachika, and Ken Kaneki.

"Oh, hey Hideyoshi, hey Ken." "Hey Takizawa, we came to hang out with you!" Ken tells him.

Takizawa met Kaneki after the battle two years ago. Arima chose to take him in peacefully to question him. Why he only had a single kagugan. Why he suddenly disappeared one day. Why he was fighting. And if he was really ever human before. The manager department of CCG headquarters thought it to be quite useful having him fight/work for them. When it got out to the rest of building on who he was, it eventually got to Seidou as well. It made him feel very uneasy about it; he felt uneasy about Kaneki being there. But when Hide informed him that Kaneki was completely safe, things changed for the better. Kaneki is very shy, and he wouldn't hurt somebody without purpose. Kaneki...was also the best friend he has mentioned before. If Kaneki is his best friend, than that was good enough for Seidou. Soon enough, without Seidou knowing it, he and Kaneki became good friends as well. Ever since then, the three of them would hang out. Seidou still had Mado and Amon, but still...

The three talk things over, about work, about some books, about some shows, and about...girls. They were all, funneling enough, awkward around girls. "Seidou, you've had a girlfriend yourself, you told me a while ago!" Hide laughs. Seidou chuckles a little. "Yeah, once in middle school! Come on man!" But as they have been talking, a deeper voice interrupts.

"Well hello, young men, is this a bad time...?" It was Houji! "O-Oh, investigator Houji! What are you doing here? Are there more reports...?" Asks Takizawa. "No, I'll be taking care of those..." Takizawa felt confused, Houji barely ever did office work. Why now? "You see, you have to-!" Houji glares at the other two that were there. "I need to speak with Takizawa alone." He had said that last word in a stern tone.

So the two leave the room, but they listen into the conversation.

"So what's this about Houji...?" "We...might have strong leads on the Gourmet..." Both Hide and Kaneki knew what this meant for Seidou. "W-What?! Are you sure? How do you know?!" Houji sighs, then speaks. "They have caught a ghoul they believe to be 'The Rose', and they might have a close connection with the Gourmet...so we must interview them..." Still leaving Seidou puzzled. "What does this have to do with me...? Can't you interview them?" Houji sighs once again. "I've tried...but they wouldn't talk. This is our case, so one of us has to do this. And...I feel like you'll have a better chance with this..." Silence for a short while. "What is their name? Are they male or female? What is their rc type?" "Here, this has as much information about them we could get. Good luck..." Hide and Kaneki can't see it, but Seidou sure can. He reads it silently. Also seeing their face.

Background info: Known as The Rose, this ghoul could not only have a link to The Gourmet, but to the late Rosewald family as well. A family of ghouls from Germany. This female ghoul had been seen dressed in men's clothing when caught, which assumes them to be either trans or as simply cross dressing. Discovered as female during captivity, as a physical exam took place. Extremely hesitant when it comes to talking.
