Seidou casually exists the building, wearing a warm, gentle smile upon his face. Being around Kanae has made him feel so, so free. 'Kanae...' So much was in the young man's head, and yet none of them could be fully established.
However as he goes into the parking lot, a very familiar face is there to greet him.
"Houji, what are you doing here...?" Houji just shrugs. "Hoping for you to confirm something with me." Houji's tone of voice was stern, gentle, and rather challenging. Seidou knew something was up.
"And what may that be...?" He asks, putting on a nervous smile. Houji sighs. "I've realized that I haven't asked you about the answers you may have gotten from The Rose-" "Kanae...!" Seidou whispers loudly enough for Houji to hear.
"What...?" Seidou soon realizes what he had said, and continues. "Her name is Kanae, Houji." Houji looks at the young man suspiciously.
"Takizawa, I know that. But she isn't a person, we don't call them by their names." Seidou flinches. "H-How can you say that, when you didn't even bother to know her?" Houji begins losing his patience.
"Takizawa, you're starting to sound as if you care for this ghoul..." Seidou bites down his tongue, whispering his response. "Don't call her that..." Houji raises an eyebrow. "What was that, Takizawa?" Seidou sighs. "Nothing, sir..." Houji takes a breath.
"Takizawa, if I may continue the main subject, I came here to ask you a question." Seidou nods. "You may ask me, sir." Houji nods.
"What information have you gotten from her?" Seidou becomes stiff, realizing the information he has gotten.
"Well...it's not much but...I know her birthday!" "Takizawa..." "It's April 23rd, her report never stated her birthday. So I figured she only told them her age, not date of birth!" Houji shakes his head. "Takizawa, that fact doesn't matter..." "But t-that's not all! D-Did you know her favorite color is red?" Houji sighs deeply. "Takizawa..." "Did you know that she plays violin? She's also a fan of classical music!" "Takizawa...!" "She likes gardening and housework too! A-And did you know she had two older brothers?! There is so much about her, and you don't even know it-!" "Takizawa, it doesn't matter!!!" Houji snaps, silencing the boy.
Houji pants from his outburst. He clears his throat and sighs. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell..." There was a pause. "I had a feeling something like this would happen, especially since I barely gave you any instructions."
Houji then takes out a pen and paper, writing something down. Once he has finished, he passes it to Seidou. "Ask her these questions starting tomorrow..." Seidou looks over the questions.
-Are you the only Rose?
-Who are the other Roses?
-Do you know the Gourmet?
-Where are some hidden ghoul restaurants?
-Who is the Gourmet?
-Why do you hunt?
-What other information can you give to us?
-What is your connection to Aogiri tree, if any?Seidou just keeps on looking over the questions, he couldn't believe how straight forward all of these questions were.
"I'm going home Takizawa, I haven't been feeling so well, so I might stay home for tomorrow as well." "Houji, I can't ask these..." Seidou blurts out. "Why not?" Seidou sighs. "These are far too...uncomfortable for her to talk about, I...might lose her trust." "Risk it." Houji states bluntly.
Seidou stands up straight. "With do respect sir, I don't think I should 'risk it'. I- we- I am making progress with her, I've worked so hard for this..." Houji smiles softly, and yet there is great confusion behind his smile.
"Which is exactly why you'll have to risk it." Seidou sighs. "B-But..." "Have I made myself clear?" He asks in a mildly stern voice. Seidou just pauses for a short period of time. "Yes sir, you've made yourself clear..."
