Nishiki sits alone at the park on a bench, contemplating about his situation. He and Kimi had recently gotten into a fight. He wanted to apologise, but he didn't know if it was the right time to do so. He felt that he was in the wrong, but couldn't come up with a way to say so.

Kimi has always put his needs before her own, and Nishiki was quite worried about her. Thankfully, he had his job at Anteiku, but there was still a bit of struggle.

The fight started through the topic of Kimi reaching out to outside ghouls. This rightfully upset Nishiki. But the more Nishiki thought about it, she was just trying to help. He decided to go to someone for advice. Couldn't be Nagachika, he's a human and he's probably never had a girlfriend. Kaneki wasn't a human, but he's kind of...well, not so experienced. How about Koma and Irimi? Maybe he'll ask them first.

He tried asking them for advice, but they just shrugged and told him that they didn't know what they would do. "Try asking Yoshimura. He's had plenty of experience." Suggested Irimi. Were they messing with him?

"Seriously, the old man?" What would Yoshimura know? "Hey, come on. He knows a lot, trust us." Informs Koma. "Well if you say so..." And with that, he goes and speaks with their manager.

"Nishio! Good to see you, what are you doing here? Isn't it your day off?" The kind elder ghoul asks. "Yeah, but..." The younger ghoul had a mildly low attitude, but still noticeable enough for Yoshimura to notice.

The elder ghoul frowns slightly. "Is...something wrong...?" Nishiki shrugs. "I...my girlfriend and I..." Nishiki felt very upset about it, it was hard enough for him to talk about it with Koma and Irimi. "We...had a fight..." At this point, Nishiki started to sniffle. Yoshimura grows a very concerned look on his face.

"Oh...wanna talk about it...?" He just nods in response. Yoshimura gestures Nishiki to take a seat. "Start slowly, and at the beginning..."

Nishiki starts from how it started, and how it started escalating into more personal problems. Things were said, things that felt as if they couldn't be unsaid. Nishiki felt scared, the love of his life could end up leaving him. Yoshimura places his hand on his shoulder, and looks him in the eye.

"Hey hey, it's okay, couples can fight from time to time. It's normal, as long as it's not too common, nor too few times." Nishiki starts to shiver slightly, holding the urge to cry. "...Do you need a hug?" Nishiki shakes his head. "No thanks..." Nishiki looks up at him. "What should I do?" Yoshimura smiles. "Be open minded, and be considerate." There was a pause. "And...wait until you're calm enough." "Thank you, I will try..." Nishiki stands and bows.

As Nishiki left, a thought came to his mind. 'How did Yoshimura know what to do?' But he ends up in just shrugging it off.

Before he could see Kimi, he had to calm down. It took a while, but he's now ready. He goes up to the door, and thinks to himself to calm his nerves. 'It's alright Nishiki, it's alright... Just remember what Yoshimura said...' Nishiki checked the time on his phone. 7:47 p.m. Here goes nothing.

He knocks, then waits. Nothing. He knocks again, then waits. "Coming!" Kimi's voice. He hears her coming, the moment he hears her opening the door, he looks down at his feet. He hears the door click.

"Nishiki...? What do you want...?" Her voice sounds a little distraught. "I...wanted to...apologize." At this point, Nishiki heard Kimi crying.

"Kimi...?" He slowly looks up, and it met with shiny glossy eyes, full of tears. And Kimi sees his red puffy eyes, he had been crying. "Nishiki!" She says still in tears. "Are you alright? Were you crying because of-" "I'm fine. I just came to apologize, like I said..." He sighs. "Of course you're still worried about me, even when you're mad at me..." He commented. She chuckled slightly.

"I'm not mad at you anymore...I just..." "I should still apologize. It was my fault, alright?" She holds her mouth, holding back a sob. "Come inside..." And so he does.

He takes a seat, and she does as well. Kimi starts to hick, but only a little. Thinking of nothing else to say, Nishiki tells her in a calm voice, "You can cry Kimi, it's alright..." And that gave her the queue. Nishiki, through instinct, holds her in a hug.

"You were right, I was wrong. I'm so sorry..." She shakes her head. "I don't want to be right! It was a stupid idea, and those other things I've said..." "I don't care about what you said, I said pretty hurtful things too!" Kimi looks at him. "I'm still sorry, I didn't mean any of it! And, we should forget about my stupid idea!" She says as tears continue to fall.

"You were just trying to help! I was being selfish... I was being stupid..." "You're not like that! You were just trying to keep me safe...!" There's a pause.

"Kimi...thank you for dealing with a crappy person like me. But...you were right. You're always right." She smiles widely at him. "Not always. I mess up a lot..." They then hold one another.

"Kimi...I love you, and I'll never leave you..." She buries her face into his shoulder. "I know. And I love you too..." Once tension has cooled down, Nishiki speaks up. "How about we go somewhere fun tomorrow?" She sighs. "Really Nishiki? We don't have to..." "What? Come on, I want to. Do you want to? It's fine! Ooh, maybe the amusement park?" She laughs. "I don't know, maybe we shouldn't be spending..." "Kimi, it's fine. We haven't gone anywhere big for a while!" "What about work?" He chuckles at her. "We'll do work, then go to the amusement park. It'll be fun!"

She smiles. "Alright, yeah! We'll go tomorrow." He hugs her. "Awesome!" They hug for a while. The fight is forgotten, though it still happened. But that's the way things are sometimes, and that was just fine.

"How about we get some sleep...?" Kimi suggested. "Sounds good to me." Nishiki says in a relaxed tone.
