Not going to take a bite? (Shiro!Juuzou x Kurona) -Part 3

Both Kuro and Shiro walk beside one another. The two hold each other's hands with a swinging motion.

"It was nice seeing Rei after all of this time." Stated Shiro. Kuro chuckles lightly. "Yeah it was, also to mention how much things have changed." Shiro laughs. "Rei, change?! Hahaha! Very funny Kuro." "I mean it, sure he has most of his personality still, but he's been acting a little bit more mature." Shiro scoffs. "Sure he has."

The sisters proceed to walk together, holding hands. Shiro turns to face her twin.

"What do we tell Papa?" Kuro scoffs. "You're still going on about that? We don't tell him anything, it's that simple." Shiro looks down to the ground, stopping in her tracks.

"Kuro...he's our father, we've got to stop hiding so many secrets from him." Kuro sighs. "He doesn't have to know, we're big girls, he has to know that!" Shiro sighs.

"Well...can you at least give a reasonable answer when he asks?" Kuro nods. "That's the least I could do..."

Time skip

The girls make it home to the mansion. Shiro looks around it.

"We should really hire someone to keep the plants here in check..." Kuro chuckles lightly. "I think it looks great the way it is, the vines give it...an authentic look." Shiro laughs softly. "Kuro..."

They go inside of the massive home. They both stand up straight, as still as they can be. "Papa, we're home!"

Slowly a figure descends from the multiple sets of stairs. And there was their papa, Akihiro Kanou himself.

"So good to see the both of you return home safely, what took you? You've been gone a little longer than I would've liked." Kuro sighs then speaks up.

"Sorry Papa, we were out hunting..." He walks up to them a little bit closer. "Were you careful? Did anyone see you? Did you leave any...traces leading up to you?" Kuro and Shiro shook their heads. "Not that we know of..."

Kanou sighs. "We should really go get you two some masks or something, I could end up caught if ether of you two are careless..." They both nod.

"We understand, Papa."

Kanou smiles warmly. "Now, we should get to training you two, you'll need it." They both sigh and bow, following his lead. The twin sisters whisper to one another.

"Now aren't you glad to know that Papa didn't find out about Rei...?" Kuro blushes softly. "Shiro, it's not like Rei and I are dating, so it wouldn't be a big deal." Shiro smiles with great warmth. "That is so you Kuro." Kuro sighs. "Come on Shiro, let's put great effort into training."

Time skip

Three days have passed, Kuro and Shiro are relaxing within their room. Shiro is gently playing with a stuffed lady bug toy, thinking about their days within the care of the CCG.

"Remember when we first met Shizuku...?" Asks Shiro. Kuro sighs sadly. "Yeah..." Shiro smiles softly. "She was so nice to us, maybe it was really out of pity..." "Not Shizuku, I could tell it was all genuine." Shiro chuckles. "Yeah, you're right."

A little more time pass and Kuro feels like going out.

"Hey Shiro, I'm going out for a bit. If Papa asks, tell him I'm out hunting..." Shiro looks dead in the eye of her twin. "Again with that excuse? Honestly, we both should come up with something new."

The truth was that Kuro hated to go hunting, although she was made to believe that it's what people deserved, she still held this hurtful guilt of doing so. She hasn't been eating properly lately, the last time she actually ate was about five days ago. So in reality, she wasn't really going hunting.
