Odd circumstances (Human!Seidou x Kanae/Karren) -Part 2

Seidou drops his work bag onto the floor of his empty apartment. He takes a deep breath and sighs.

"I'm home...!" He tells his little home.

He goes into his bedroom, takes off a layer of his suit, left with his dress shirt, tie, and dress pants. He drops his body onto his bed. It was a rather...interesting day to say the least. Though, he still needed to talk with the female ghoul, hopefully things won't get awkward.

Seidou lays on his back, holding his arms. He starts talking out loud to himself.

"I guess I'll just go straight to Cochlea tomorrow, but how should I get lunch? Maybe I should make a quick stop to the convenience store. Yeah, I'll do that..." Seidou was left contemplating about his position in all of this. Not once before has he thought of talking with a ghoul. But here he was, needing to.

Takizawa recalls his encounter with the ghoul, remembering their conversation. And the way her eyes shined without putting in emotion. Her hair was very lovely too, side bangs really seems to fit her. And her face and figure, very impressive.

He puts on a slight smile, having his cheeks a powder pink. "She was rather beautiful..." He then slaps himself in a literal sense to snap out of it.

'What is the matter with me? She's just a ghoul! Maybe I'm just impressed with her looks...' Right when he finished that thought, he gets a text. It's from Houji!

-Hello Takizawa, how did it go? You didn't go back to bureau so I assumed you went home.
-Oh Houji! Sorry, I forgot to tell you!
-It's alright, just inform me on how it went.
-Well, she managed to talk with me.
-She, Takizawa?
-Yeah, she's fine with it. She seems to need a little more trust though. So I'll be going there for a while.
-That's fine, as long as there's progress. Remember, don't let anyone else know.

Oops, there's Kaneki and Nagachika to worry about.

-I won't sir, thank you!
-No...thank you.

With that, the conversation ends. And so Seidou gets ready for bed.

Time skip

Seidou gets up from bed and gets ready to go. He just has a piece of toast for breakfast, after that he brushes his teeth, washes his face, combs his hair, and changes his clothes. He bows and says goodbye to his apartment, and then leaves.

He of course heads to the convenience store for his lunch for later. An egg sandwich, with some onigiri, cherry tomatoes, and canned coffee. He pays and leaves for the road.

Time skip

Once Seidou steps out of his vehicle, he takes a deep breath. "I can do this. I can do this!" There he was in front of the high secured building, everything was going to be fine.

He walks inside, does the normal security check, and is on his way.

He continues walking, until he sees the Rosewald ghoul. She seemed to have noticed him, and keeps her sights on him. He takes his seat. "Good morning." She tells him. "G-Good morning..." Then it's silent for about a minute or so.

Kanae speaks up. "You're awfully quiet today. You were so talkative the last time we have spoken." He blushes and looks at the ground right of him. "Does it have something to do with the question you asked yesterday?" No response from the brunette. "Honestly, humans are so complicated..." Seidou pipes up.

"W-Well...so are ghouls!" She laughs softly. "How so?" "Uhh, well uhh...you seem so human." "Of course we are, we need to fit in." "Y-Yeah, but you act so human..." There's a pause. "I've never spoken to a ghoul before, and you- you're so...different from what I was expecting." Kanae just smiles. "Glad to see I made a great first impression." She jokes.
