Not going to take a bite? (Shiro!Juuzou x Kurona) -Ending

"Why couldn't you have told me?!" Asked the elder male. Kuro scoffs. "Because it wasn't of any concern to you Papa! That kind of stuff is...private." Kuro blushes lightly as she looks away from him.

Kanou crosses his arms once again. "Really, no concern to me? Ok than, what do you believe could've happened if he found out about you?" "Papa..." "Sure it appears you're only risking your own life right now, but if they linked you to me, all of my work and research would be for nothing! This Suzuya character isn't as stupid and childish as he may seem!" Kuro jolts up and snaps.

"I never thought he was stupid!" "Than why did you do this, huh?" Kuro sighs. "I wanted to catch up with him, we were friends!"

Kanou smirks. "'Friends' huh? Than I guess he would never betray you, right?" "Papa, I was never planning on letting him know, ok? He's...pretty alright, but I would never risk that!"

Kanou walks closer. "Do you...like this boy?" Kuro blushes immensely. "I don't think I've seen him like that, I don't think..." Shiro walks over to the pair. "Papa, Kuro is very clever and careful, she won't get caught. So please, just leave her be." Kanou turns to face the white haired girl. "Not now Nashiro."

Shiro shuts her mouth, and Kanou continues speaking.

"Do you really believe he'll like you in return? You?" Kuro freezes up. "Sure you were a pretty decent fighter back at the training academy, but right now, that strength won't do you any good with Suzuya. From what I've heard, he's a pretty strong character."

Kuro scoffs. "Papa, I won't get caught! How many times do I have to tell you?! No one knows about the ghoulification process, and I already had to do a rc test in the past, I would even be the least suspected! I can even pretend I was eating human food...I'm really good at that, because we've practiced it, remember...?" Kanou doesn't respond.

"Sure we...were struggling at first, but I got the hang of it!" Kanou sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. "...Did you eat with him...?" Kuro nods quickly.

"Yes!" "And you're sure that you gave no indication of disgust?" Once again, Kuro nods quickly. "Yes, yes Papa!" Kanou turns his face toward Shiro.

"Was your sister there at the time?" Kuro pause, then nods slightly. "Well yeah, but..." "Did she eat anything?" Kuro freezes, and Kanou asks again. "Did she or didn't she?" Kuro slowly shakes her head.

"A few days before that, I told Rei that Shiro wasn't feeling so good, which she wasn't! And so of course it would make sense for her not to eat."

Kanou sighs. "Good, what a relief..." He pauses. "I'll let it slide for now, since you've done a good job hiding yourself. However, the next time you see Suzuya, tell him something..." Kuro looks Kanou in the eyes.

"Tell him what?" Kanou clears his throat. "This will be hard, but it must get done. You have to tell him you can no longer see him, and that you're moving away." Kuro freezes up.

"You...You can't be serious..." "I'm sorry, but that's the way it has to be." Kuro steps forward, placing her hand onto her chest.

"I can't do that to him! I already left him all by himself before, I can't do that again!" "Kurona...you can't risk us anymore being around him." She scoffs.

"Papa, please...don't do this. I care about him, he's my...friend!" Kanou sighs deeply.

"Girls, there is something I have to tell you..." Nashiro and Kurona both look at him. Kanou scoffs and takes a breath.

"Remember how...I talked to both of you about joining Aogiri?" Shiro chuckles lightly. "Of course, it is important to you, right?" Kanou smirks. "Yeah, and how I've spent weeks trying to find a way into it." Another pause.
