Ponyboy: Your parents love Ponyboy so far from what they've seen and heard, but they still don't trust you two together. Your parents make sure when you hang out with Ponyboy it's supervised, they'll even call Darry to make sure.

Your parents know about Pony's parents and try to be parent figures for him. That means Pony is invited to all family dinners and holiday events.

Sodapop: Your parents feelings on Sodapop are quite different from each other. Your mother loves Sodapop because she sees how caring and gentle he is, and not to mention, how attractive he is. Your father, on the other hand, thinks Sodapop is a bum because he's a dropout and that he has a weird name.

It's safe to say family dinners with Soda can get awkward.

Darrel: Your parents loved Darrel the second they met him. Darrel's very mature for his age and your parents can see that. They love that Darrel is there to keep you out of trouble, and that he can support you with his job and house.

The night your parents met Darrel your dad asked him "when are ya gonna propose, son?"

Dallas: Your parents opinions on Dallas are just as you expected them to be. Their not his biggest fans.

Your parents absolutely can't stand Dallas, but since he makes you happy they've agreed to put up with him. Anytime Dallas does something that makes you angry or ends up in the cooler your parents ask if your going to leave him with a look of hope in their eyes.

Two-bit: Your parents like Two-bit a lot because of his humor and how happy he makes you. Of course your parents will worry about him being such a tuff greaser, but that won't deter them from liking him.

Your mother is constantly trying to tell you jokes Two-bit taught her, she fails, but it's still really funny.

Johnny: Your parents have 100% trust for Johnny and they love him like a son. Johnny's shyness obviously had a good impact on your parents. They seem to see him less tough than he actually is.

Since your parents trust him so much, Johnny is allowed to sleep in your room with you almost any night he wants to.

Steve: Let's just forget about your mothers opinion on Steve for a second, and focus on your fathers opinion. Your father is honestly giving Soda a run for his money when it comes to being Steve's best friend. Sometimes you'll come home to find Steve already there sharing a beer or fixing a car with your father.

The worst part? They have inside jokes you don't know about.
