Mikan's gaze fixated on the High School Principal. He was strikingly handsome and exceptionally tall, looking as if he were in his twenties or thirties. Her mind swirled with confusion as to whether this man had indeed come to their aid, and if so, why.

" Excuse me," Mikan began, attempting to seek some clarification. " Why have we been brought here?"

Misaki glanced around and spotted Narumi, Jinno, and Nodachi Sensei. Subaru, Sakurano, and Goshima Senpai were also present, adding to her bewilderment. " What is going on?" Misaki muttered to herself.

The High School Principal approached Mikan's direction, leaving her in a state of astonishment. " Eh?" Mikan blinked several times, her gaze still fixed on the tall man.

" Wow... so tall," Misaki remarked in awe, while Natsume scoffed and shook his head, observing Misaki's fascination with the Principal's appearance.

" Nice to finally meet you. I am related to your father's side," the High School Principal revealed, leaving Mikan wide-eyed.

He then pursed his lips. " I am your father's older brother... I've always wanted to talk to you like this, but... I apologize," he calmly explained.

Hotaru, Misaki, Natsume, and Ruka were taken aback. " What happened to my father?..." Mikan stuttered, struggling to comprehend the revelations.

" Your father, unfortunately, passed away before you were born. It was a great loss, but we don't have time to dwell on this matter. We brought you here due to the urgency of your current situation. We have decided to intervene and talk to you about our proposition," the High School Principal disclosed before casting a glance at the others.

Mikan was overwhelmed by the information and collapsed to the floor. Hotaru and Misaki rushed to her side. " Mikan?" Hotaru called, tapping her arm to rouse her.

" Mikan-chan..." Misaki said with a saddened tone, hovering her hand over Mikan's forehead to cool it down with her water alice.

Narumi's eyes widened. " What are you saying?!" he exclaimed, casting a bewildered glance at Jinno Sensei and the Principal, utterly astonished by the unfolding events.

" What have you all been..." he began but shook his head in disbelief.

Jinno sighed as he looked at Narumi. " Calm down, Narumi Sensei. We have carefully considered this and reached this decision. Given the recent rebellion, please remember that there are students like Ashikaga and Hyuuga who are being mistreated," he said, attempting to make Narumi realize the importance of the students' well-being.

" If you go with them, who will support the students? Are you going to sacrifice your life for the sake of one student?" Jinno straightforwardly inquired before gazing at Mikan. " It's better for you to escape with her mother."

Mikan sighed, her gaze fixed on the floor. " I... escaping with that person... I don't want that," she expressed.

" Mikan-chan," Narumi said, gazing at the troubled girl.

" It's not just you who would be escaping. For Ashikaga-san, staying at this academy with her alice is also dangerous..." Sakurano added while standing beside Subaru and Goshima.

Misaki's eyebrows knitted together after hearing her name. " Why? They don't even know about it," she protested.

" We're confident that you've been keeping it a secret, but once the Elementary School Principal discovers it, who knows what he might do to you," Subaru pointed out, casting a glance at Misaki, who had her lips pursed in disapproval.

" There's someone who wants to take you back with him, Ashikaga-san," the High School Principal disclosed.

Mikan shook her head. " How can we escape and leave the others behind? What will happen to them if we leave... isn't it unfair if only we escape?"

Misaki nodded in agreement and exchanged a meaningful look with Natsume, who appeared displeased. Nodachi then began to explain the situation to Mikan. " While it might seem like we're favoring the two of you, if the Elementary Principal gets his hands on the two of you, we'll all be in danger."

Misaki snorted and crossed her arms. " You seem to forget, but my alice is a mystery to you. Despite everything, I haven't been given any alice restraints like Natsume's. You know very little about my abilities."

" Misa-chan," Narumi said, realizing that they weren't fully aware of her powers, apart from her water and stealing alice. Natsume was the only one who comprehended her alice.

Suddenly, Natsume stood in front of Misaki and Mikan. " You guys are talking nonsense. This girl can't even process what you're saying." He pointed at Mikan, who was struggling to grasp the situation. 

" It's true, you hardly know Misaki and what she's capable of. How can you just send her away? Even if she agrees, I won't accept this."

Natsume clenched his fists tightly. " I won't hand these two over to people who don't even understand what they've endured. If you insist on taking them, make us understand why we should entrust them to you, and then we'll decide."

" Natsu..." Misaki looked at Natsume as he stood before her.

Ruka was equally opposed to sending Mikan away. " Even if you want them to escape, if we can't accept the ones who would be with them... we will keep protecting Sakura and Misaki at all costs." Ruka spoke and knelt beside Mikan, holding her arm.

Mikan stared at him in admiration. Even in such a trying moment, Ruka still shone brightly. She didn't want to leave him either.

" Ruka-pyon," Mikan said to him, gazing into his eyes. Ruka held her hands and looked at the High School Principal.

" Sakura has endured not knowing anything about herself and the secrets you've kept from her. Please reveal everything to her and end her suffering," Ruka pleaded, prompting the High School Principal to nod in agreement.

" Noda Sensei, have you managed to overcome the effects of the bracelet placed on you by the Elementary Principal?" he inquired. Nodachi confirmed and pulled up his right sleeve to reveal a bracelet.

" Yes, I've been diligently working to resist the effects of this bracelet," Nodachi replied before covering his arm.

" We don't have much time to explain for you to understand. With Nodachi Sensei's alice, you'll be able to witness the past firsthand," the High School Principal said.

Jinno Sensei was taken aback and gasped. " Principal, isn't that too risky?"

" See for yourselves what happened in the past, and then make your choice about the path you'll take," the Principal added
