The time skipped half a year after the previous event, Yukihira's hairstyle changed, his bangs awkwardly parted in between his forehead that made him get laughed at since his brother pointed out that his hairstyle looked old-fashioned. On the contrary Narumi and Yuka's friendship greatly accelerated and the boy was happier and already smiling unlike before and as time flew by, it became summer when Mina and Yuka were in their 3rd year in middle school while Narumi was at his 1st.
Yuka was eventually welcomed by the Special Abilities Class and gained their trust yet the fact that lots of students were still causing her misery and continued gossiping about her, Narumi was there to protect the girl on behalf of Mina who was constantly hanging out at the Hanahime Den unwillingly.
" Say, Narumi... You've gotten taller again-- geez." Yuka blurted out and took a deep breath, reminiscing their memorable past. Seems that Narumi changed for a short while as soon as he became close to the girl.
While Yuka was looking at the trees, Narumi who was leaning by the path's railing suddenly clung on her shoulders, driving her away from vicious students who were trying to throw rocks at her but failed due to Narumi's reflexes since he was able to catch it. He then shot them a quick glare before looking back at Yuka who got startled by his sudden action.
" Yes, Senpai... Let's just go to the special abilities' class, you're too noisy~." he exhilarated and dragged Yuka away who was unaware of the situation. She just laughed at Narumi's silliness and complied. Narumi was a little bit cocky nowadays due to his admirable appearance that caused buzz throughout the middle school division especially with the female students.
" Alright, be thankful you're taller than me now or else I would've kicked you by now. " Yuka snorted and elbowed Narumi's side playfully as they walk together. However, Narumi was always thinking that no matter how close the two are, Yuka won't still show her sadness to him but it is because he was the one being protected by her all this time yet he still wants to support her by staying by her side at all cost.
Little did the two know, Igarashi Kaoru was watching the two from a distance. She was amused by Narumi's wit and bravery from being able to assess the situation and protect Yuka from such petty harm.
" What an adorable man..." she smiled and gave a short laugh while looking at the two student's back. She suddenly glanced at Yukihira who was near her and asked for his opinion. " Don't you think so too, Sensei?" she grinned and raised a brow.
Yukihira sweat-dropped and held his forehead. " Geez, you're prying into other's affairs again-- without any permission!" he shook his head a little but Kaoru just shrugged her shoulders before pursing her lips together.
" Now that I've seen it... I can confirm that the hostility-- animosity of the middle division students toward Azumi Yuka is unsurprisingly encouraged by the elementary school principal." she bluntly stated and crossed her arms together.
Kaoru let out a sigh. " I'm afraid that he wants her to lose Hii-sama's favor and protection to fulfill his wishes by causing unfortunate events like awhile ago-- it's because of that pheromone boy--" she pointed her index finger toward the direction where Yuka and Narumi went before.
" He was actually working hard to help, that's why there isn't any problem as of now and that the principal isn't making his move yet." she added and tilted her head while Yukihira was listening carefully, not missing any single detail.
" That bastard principal what does he think he's doing to a kid?" Yukihira gritted his teeth together as he mumbled to himself. Kaoru didn't hear what he just uttered and tapped her chin with her finger.
