Misaki finally regained her composure. " Just like us... What's happening with you, Natsume?" she murmured, shaking her head slightly before heading back.
Upon her return, Tsubasa and the others sighed with relief upon seeing that Misaki was safe, as she had been missing for a while.
Ruka, Hotaru, Permy, and friends from the White Team noticed Misaki's presence. " Looks like nothing happened..." they commented.
Inchou approached her with concern. " Ne, Misa-chan... Is it true that Natsume said that about you and Mikan-chan?" he asked.
Misaki hummed a little. " Seems like he doesn't want to involve himself and the others with us anymore," she sighed, offering an honest response. " If he thinks that way, then we can't do anything about it, can we?"
Koko appeared beside Inchou, his usual carefree expression intact. " Why?" he asked with a smile.
Inchou sweat-dropped after seeing Koko's grin. " Ah... Koko," he began but trailed off.
Misaki smiled slightly, signaling that she was okay with it. " I don't have any idea, it seems the decision has been made, so I'll remain silent," she reassured with a nod.
"B ut why would he..." Kitsuneme was cut off as soon as Mikan arrived at the scene, having heard about what happened earlier from Tsubasa.
" Misa-chan! That guy, Natsume... Why would he..." Mikan blurted out, coincidentally repeating what Kitsuneme was trying to say.
Misaki waved her hand in front of her, brushing aside their statements. " No, no. Let's not question him any further," she began.
" It's all right," she said, thinking about Natsume. His hands had been warm and slightly trembling when he had unexpectedly hugged Misaki from behind. It was clear he regretted and was angry with himself.
" We've been through a lot together... He must have his reasons for acting and speaking that way," Misaki said with a sudden smile, reassuring everyone that she was fine. " He must have been influenced by someone bad."
" Whatever happens, Mikan and I will keep smiling, even if there are rumors about us. You guys stay the same," she added, beaming. Mikan understood what she meant and agreed with a smile.
Tsubasa, Inchou, Tono, and the others chuckled, impressed by the two girls' optimism. After that, Mikan rallied her team, receiving dirty looks from the White Team.
Mikan had a plan for the next event, and although Tono and Tsubasa were uncertain, Subaru liked Mikan's idea for the sake of winning. " Evil~!" Tsubasa exclaimed.
Everyone gathered and waited until they were ready for the Kibasen (horseback race) to begin. The horseback was made up of three horses and one jockey, and the use of Alices was allowed. If a coin on the jockey's head was taken, they would be frozen for 10 seconds, and each coin was worth 10 points. The General's coin was worth 50 points. If the jockey fell or the horses broke up, they would be disqualified.
Victory would go to the team with the most untouched jockeys or whoever brought down the other team's General, which would automatically end the game.
" Ah, I hope everything goes well," Misaki sighed as she scanned the area while being carried by three guys from the Special Ability Class, one of whom was Megane, possessing the possession Alice. They had been appointed by Tono and Tsubasa to be with Misaki.
" Don't worry, just trust us. Tsubasa would probably smack us if we were to drop you," Megane reassured, though he sweat-dropped at his own statement. The other two guys at the back agreed with Megane.
