Hayami read from the newspaper he published, " According to an anonymous caller, today somewhere in the Academy, the young non-alice girl will appear." Tono reported an anonymous caller to him so he could circulate the juicy news.
Those who heard and read about it gathered in a place where they said that the non-alice girl would appear. " Onii-chan..." Aoi called out, Natsume stood beside her while holding her hand, knowing that he's there for her.
'It is up to you, protecting your sister by revealing the truth or just continue running away full of lies.'
Natsume suddenly spoke as they stood on top of a building, showing Aoi to the students who showed up. " It's okay, Aoi. This time, I'll surely protect you," he reassured and tightened his grip on Aoi's hand.
Somewhere at the Academy, the Elementary Principal wasn't pleased and asked for the names of those who are in the video showing Aoi to the students. Narumi was called early to inform him that Mikan, Natsume, Misaki, Ruka, Hotaru, and Youichi caused a huge trouble at the Junior Division area, but their location is still unknown.
A storm of paper flew down the academy causing an uproar. It was about a non-alice living at the Hanahime-den. The ones who stayed behind, Ruka and the others, were the ones who folded the paper into paper planes and threw it out from the window. Hotaru, with the help of Misaki senpai, spread the papers as fast as possible.
As they successfully folded the papers, Mikan suddenly fell unconscious. Hotaru noticed it and alerted the others. " She looks different from earlier. Misaki too," she said. Misaki felt her body sting like before but tried hard not to be unconscious.
" D-don't mind me," Misaki breathed hard and clutched her head. Hotaru and the others found a rock inside Mikan's hand which alarmed Misaki.
'Mikan's alice... just like Yuka- her mother.' Misaki thought to herself. Mikan was burning hot, so Subaru checked her closely, especially the rock inside her right hand.
" We need to take them to the hospital!" Tono panicked. Subaru shook his head, disagreeing with Tono before pointing at Mikan's hand that was clutching a stone.
" Take a look at this," Subaru stated, and the others glanced at Mikan's hand, which once was covered with black marks. However, it was fading slowly as if the stone was absorbing it.
" As the marks fade, the rock's color darkens and expands," Sakurano said, carefully observing the stone while he was beside Misaki. " Maybe this is Mikan's alice stone?!" Tono gasped in shock. " Woah!"
Ruka and Hotaru looked at each other. " No, the stone is large, not even a strong person can do this that easily," Subaru disagreed once again. " We still haven't learned how to make it." Hotaru added. They felt that it was suspicious; if it isn't her alice stone, what else could it be.
Misaki knew what was happening to Mikan but couldn't believe that she could force out the mark of death alice using that.
" Seems like she wants to remove the alice from her body, turning the alice into a stone... she steals them away," Sakurano spoke as he watches Mikan force the mark out of her body.
" That is... Yuka," Subaru gasped and muttered lowly. Ruka and Hotaru remembered the existence of the stealing alice from before. Which is Z's alice.
" It is a rare alice, having a hidden alice that appears like this-," Tono blurted out, sweat dropping due to the fact that it's unusual.
" Why would she have that alice?" Hotaru blinked for a couple of times literally confused about what was happening.
Sakurano once again spoke, " If the alice runs in the family then it's not surprising, but if she randomly has it-..." he trailed off, thinking if Mikan has any relation with Yuka, their beloved senpai from before.
" Mikan!"
" Sakura!"
They saw that her marks faded. Subaru held his hand over Mikan's forehead. " She's cooling off," he announced. They sighed in relief but there's still Misaki to worry about.
" What will we do to Misaki?" Hotaru frowned still unable to relax knowing that Misaki is still in a critical state. Sakurano looked at Misaki, whose condition had worsened. Without any further thoughts, she touched Sakurano's arm out of the blue.
" Misaki?" Ruka asked, looking puzzled. Tono sweat dropped again. " What are you doing, Misa-chan? You're going to scare him that way," he asked, but Misaki didn't give any answer.
'I can't show this to the others aside from you and Subaru senpai, so please-...' Sakurano gave her a pat on the head before turning towards Tono.
" Would you please lead the kids to your room, they must be tired," Sakurano sincerely said. Tono felt hesitant but eventually agreed. He led Ruka, Hotaru, and Youichi to his room so they could rest for a while.
As soon as they left, Misaki breathed deeply, bowing her head a little to thank Sakurano. " Thank you, senpai," she weakly muttered. Sakurano gave her a nod acknowledging her thanks.
" Why did you want them to leave?" Sakurano asked calmly. Subaru glanced at Misaki, who clenched her hand tight. "Too dangerous," she sighed heavily.
She started using her stealing alice to get Persona's alice out of her body like what Mikan unconsciously did. As she accumulated the alice, turning it to a stone, her marks faded slowly and her temperature started to cool down.
" You..." Subaru blurted in disbelief. Sakurano's eyes started to shake as he witnessed Misaki forcing it out of her. Misaki hung her head low. " Please keep this between us, who knows what future awaits for a student like me," her voice suddenly cracked and fell unconscious due to exhaustion.
" Sakura was a surprise, but Ashikaga Misaki... sure is full of mysteries," Subaru stated, glancing at the two girls sleeping on the bed.
Sakurano held his head and gave a sigh before sitting down in his usual chair. " I can't help but feel bad for this girl, Misaki," the two gave her a final glance before preparing themselves for another day.
