In the charged atmosphere at the brink of crucial action, an intense turn of events erupted, drawing every member of the group into a spiral of chaos and dismay.
A frantic tension hung in the air, shattering the quiet with Misaki's urgent cry, " Wait, stop!" She sprinted towards Narumi and Yuka as the sense of impending disaster settled upon them like a heavy shroud. Narumi, instinctively alarmed, cast a worried glance towards the Keyhole, sensing something awry.
" Yuka, get away--!" he began, his words laced with dread. But it was too late. With a dreadful inevitability, Yuka inserted the key into the Keyhole and turned it, setting off an explosion that ripped through the tense atmosphere. The deafening blast tore apart their world, leaving everyone, including the Fuukitai and Luna, in stunned silence.
" Yuka!"
" Narumi!"
" Misaki!"
The door, now a mangled mess, crumbled into oblivion, sending debris raining down around them. As the smoke gradually cleared, the grim reality came into focus. Mikan's group, along with Luna's contingent, witnessed the agonizing sight of Narumi and Yuka sprawled on the unforgiving ground, their bodies broken and battered. Little Misaki knelt before them, her protective barrier shielding the duo from the full brunt of the explosion.
" Ugh," Misaki coughed, blood trickling from her wounds, her back and head searing with pain. She gripped the unconscious Yuka, struggling to assess her condition amidst her own suffering, her body betraying her with every breath.
Mikan rushed to her mother's side, her voice trembling as she called out, " Mother!"
Narumi, though injured himself, was aghast as he witnessed the devastation. " Are you alright, Yu-," He looked down at his own hands, now stained with Yuka's lifeblood. Misaki, despite her agonizing injuries, was more concerned about her friends than her own well-being.
" Argh... Help Yuka-san... Please," Misaki groaned, her strength waning as she cradled her throbbing head before slipping into unconsciousness.
"Misaki!" Natsume and Mina rushed to Misaki's side, the gravity of the situation dawning upon them. Natsume pulled out his healing alice stone and handed it to Misaki, who had fallen unconscious due to blood loss and agony.
Shiki, driven by a desperate urgency, directed Mikan to insert the stone into Misaki, knowing that her injuries were more severe than those of Yuka and Narumi. Mikan acted swiftly, implanting the stone with a prayer, aware that the healing process wouldn't provide instant relief.
" My baby... Yuka," Mina muttered, her anger and sorrow fusing into a burning determination. She applied first aid to Yuka, whose breathing was erratic, her own healing alice enveloping both Yuka and Misaki in a gentle, restorative light. It wasn't a miraculous instant recovery, but it almost stabilized their precarious conditions.
" Yuka and Misaki... How could this be," Ryosuke clenched his fists in frustration, his gaze shifting to Luna, who now appeared genuinely shocked and concerned. Through his telepathic ability, he discerned the shocking truth: the Elementary Principal was behind this orchestrated catastrophe.
Tears welled up in Mikan's eyes as she watched the tragic scene unfold, fearing the impending loss of the mother she had only just reunited with and her close friend.
As Yuka briefly regained consciousness, her trembling hand reached out to touch Mikan's face. Luna, too, was moved by the heartbreaking tableau before her.
" Mikan..." Yuka whispered, her voice filled with love and longing, her hand gently caressing her daughter's head. In the midst of chaos and suffering, their connection was undeniable.
