Nightmares.

Oh, how they haunt you,
As clear the skies in the day,
'Tis natural to succumb to,
The trauma on replay.

Sufferings.

I gave you only the beginning,
But the beginning of the end.
No drug would ease this pain;
Clinging to your feet as you ascend.

Mercy.

I know none.
A child's plea is a melody;
A cry of insanity,
Cold dead eyes hold yours in glee,
The darker side the world can't unsee.
I hold man's greedy hope.
A selfish urge, an unnecessary desire,
Pushed to desperation,
Inhumane deeds will transpire.

You will return,
You will come home.
It calls you,
Despite all you've known,
A secret origin you crave to unravel,
But beware the answer would change you forever.

It's looking out for you,
Crawling behind, begging for you to see.
I will find you,
You will not find me.

Fly up and above,
Second star to the right,
Straight on till morning,
You'll catch Neverland in sight.
