ASSUMPTIONS

YOUR / THIRD POV

sam was filming a video with the whole trap house, including navi, about assumptions the fans made about them. colby and you broke up after an argument a month ago, and it's obviously bothering both of you.

sam was reading through the answers, and colby was cuddling up with navi on the couch. him and navi have a great relationship, but he never loves on her this much. colby wishes it was you beside him, the one he was kissing and not the dog.

"i assume something happened, a breakup or whatever, between colby and y/n because she hasn't been around for a month or so." sam said and everyone immediately looked at colby.

colby's face was sad, and he was looking down. as though he was trying not to cry or he was thinking about you. "uhm.." colby started, but he was trying to gather his words smoothly. "yes, something did happen between me and y/n. we are no longer toget-" he got cut off by the door slamming.

you walked in, tears down your face. colby stood up quickly, and looked surprised to see you here. "don't finish that sentence." you said walked over to him, smashing your lips onto his. colby kissed back, holding your waist as you wrapped your arms around his neck.

"i... love... you... colby." you said between kisses, and colby shushed you. "don't talk." colby mumbled against your lips. everyone was smiling and sam turned off the camera. colby hoisted you up and you wrapped your legs around his waist, having him walk to his bedroom with you.

colby pulled away and looked into your eyes. you had tears falling down your face, causing him to wipe them away with his thumb. "don't cry, it's all better now." he whispered to you, and you sniffled. "i just missed you so much." you said and he kissed you again.

you kissed back, and colby pushed you against the wall softly. you pulled away after a few seconds and looked at him. "i thought i lost you." colby said, and you shook your head while cupping his cheeks. "no, no. you could never lose me colbs. i love you and that'll never change." colby held your hands that were attached to his cheeks, caressing them gently with his thumb.

"you're my everything, y/n. i can't imagine life without you." you smiled and took colby to the bed, laying down. he lifted his shirt over his head and laid down, snuggling into your chest. "can you do that thing you do that gives me goosebumps?" colby asked, sounding like a kid.

you chuckled and nodded. "sure, close your eyes." he obeyed and shut his eyes, relaxing completely into you. you traced your fingers along the muscles on his back, softly enough to tickle him slightly. his breathing was slowing, and was calmed as you traced all the way down his back and up to his neck. you traced shapes on his neck, and the chills hit him.

you saw his small smile appear on his face as soon as he received them, snuggling into you even closer. you scooted down so you could be at face level with him, and he studied your eyes. you closed them when he kissed your forehead, hugging you close into his warm body.

you could feel the muscles in his toned body as you slowly fell asleep. colby was stroking your hair to help you finally get some well deserved sleep, as you haven't been able to this past month. he soon fell asleep to the warmth of you.

a few hours later you were having a nightmare, and it woke colby up. you were shivering slightly and you were whimpering in your sleep. "colby please.." you whimpered, making him furrow his brows and look at you. "d-don't leave me, i need you." colby gripped your hand and caressed it gently.

"colby please." you got a little louder, and colby rested on one of his elbows. "y/n." colby said, but nothing worked and tears started to slowly fall down your face. "don't do this! i can't be abandoned again! i love you!" you yelled, and colby didn't know what to do.

colby kissed you quickly, waking you up and you shot open your eyes. you saw it was colby and melted into his touch, kissing back. colby slightly opened his mouth, deepening the kiss. you smiled into it and he pulled away, "you alright babe?" he questioned, concerned for you.

"yes. i'm sorry i woke you up. i just... this past month has been hell for me without you." you said and colby nodded, understanding your point of view. "i get it y/n/n. i missed you a lot too, and i love you." colby smiled and kissed your forehead as you leaned your forehead onto his chin. "want to try and sleep again?" he asked you.

you nodded and snuggled into his chest, as he held you close. you closed your eyes and smiled at the comfort you felt, as you soon drifted off to colby humming your favorite song. colby laid awake until you were fully asleep, and took a picture, posting it to instagram with the caption: never want to let go❤️.
