colby had called you over to film a video with him for his personal channel. you weren't sure what the video idea was, but you were sure as hell about to find out.

you arrived at sam and colby's apartment, and knocked on the door. colby opened and smiled at you, "hi! come in." he cheerfully invited you in, making you chuckle at his cuteness.

"so what video are we gonna film?" you ask, and he rubs his hands together. "this is what i'm a little bit nervous for. you don't have to say yes if you don't want to, i can wait for sam. but it's recreating cringy couple musical.lys." colby said with a slight nervous flat lined smile.

"i'm down. this should be fun! and who knows maybe we get to make out in one." you nudged him and he blushed. you had a crush on colby, and it was obvious he felt the same way. what are you waiting for? well, you want to make sure this is what you want.

yes you want a boyfriend, but are you sure colby is the one for you? you've been hurt a couple times before, but the most recent time was three years ago. that's when you put up a wall that's extremely hard to climb over when someone wants you to open up to them.

colby has done something to you, and he climbed over that wall eventually. you and colby have known each other for around two and a half years now, you found him when your heart break had just healed. you didn't open up to him much at first, but now you tell him everything.

you're nervous to be in another relationship; you're scared of being hurt again. scared of feeling that pain that feels like it's never going to go away, afraid it won't ever heal. colby has taught you what affection is, and you want to be taught what love is by the right person. your heart is telling you something, except you don't know what it's saying.

"alright, let's check some of these out." colby said as he opened the app on his phone. the first one that popped up was one of gabriel's and he was with his girlfriend. the song went on with the video, until gabriel started to kiss on her neck.

"what the heck? is he like, makin' out with her neck right there?" you asked, never expecting this. colby giggled, "it's getting R rated gabrielllll." he emphasized his name. colby blushed a little, but only you could tell.

he put on a gray beanie, and did your hair style similar to hers. colby went onto your left side and held your waist, giving you butterflies. the music started in the background and you followed their movements. then colby's head turned into your neck, and you leaned your head back to make it more believable.

what caught you off guard is colby's soft lips leaving butterfly kisses on your neck. your spine erupted with chills, and you could see the obvious goosebumps you got. colby smirked into your neck as he noticed, before pulling his head away and gripping your hand; finishing off the recreation.

you were shocked but kept your face straight, as if nothing happened. you went on for a couple more, until you had to kiss in one. this is what you were nervous for. yes you made jokes about it in the beginning, but having to actually kiss the guy you're crushing on- it's nerve wracking.

colby looked into your eyes and then at your lips, before grabbing your face and smashing his lips onto yours. you kissed back instantly, and your heart started racing. now you knew what your heart was screaming at you. it was telling you to love him, to be his everything.

the video ended, but colby didn't pull away. you never wanted it to end. colby reached his hand out, and turned off the camera before gripping your waist firmly. you felt tingles as his hand squeezed your hip, and lifted up the hem of your shirt so he could feel your skin.

"i love you y/n..." colby whispered in between soft, passionate kisses. you nodded and pulled him closer if possible, "i love you too." colby smiled and pressed his hand against the small of your back, rubbing his thumb up and down as you pulled away to breathe.

"i know you've been hurt, y/n/n. but i would never treat you that way, you're too precious to hurt. the past guys you've been with, didn't know what love is, and i know you want to feel it for the first time. let me show you what it feels like, let me love you the right way." colby said while gripping your hands and looking into your eyes.

you blushed and leaned your forehead against his, smiling to yourself. "i want you to love me, colby. love me right." colby smiled and kissed you again, lifting you up and gently pushing you on the couch. you giggled as he deepened the kiss slightly before pulling away and staring into your eyes.

you were giggling softly because you were happy. you haven't felt like this in a while, and it makes you feel bubbly to have a guy who truly wants you. the fact that he climbed over your wall and wanted to see your vulnerable side, it had you sold on him.

colby lifted your shirt a little and left kisses on your stomach. he was tracing shapes as he was kissing up to the wires in your bra, and down to your happy trail below your belly button. you were an insecure girl, you couldn't lie to yourself. you grabbed your shirt and tried to put it down, but colby pushed it back up.

"don't. you're perfect, y/n. i love you for you. you never have to hide anything from me, not even your insecure parts. your body is beautiful, and so is your personality. you're drop dead gorgeous, and it's because of who you are. you have a kind soul and big heart, and that's what makes you, you y/n." you blushed and just pushed his head back down to your belly so he wouldn't see you.

he chuckled and continued to leave little kisses, and it calmed you. you closed your eyes at the bliss you felt, and the pleasure of his soft lips kissing you. you drifted off to the feeling of his finger tips tracing shapes and your curves on your sides, and the small sound of kisses on your belly.

this is what you wanted, and all you've ever needed. colby knew what you needed, and he was destined to provide you with it. he knew you just needed true love, and it would fix your broken parts. he was willing to give his life to put you back together, and to make you happy. he will love you like this forever, and one day he will show you just how much he loves you and yearns for you.

that is the promise of love.
