YOUR POV

you sat in your room, crying your eyes out. you felt alone, and didn't know how to handle the situation you were caught up in. you've distanced yourself from your friends, and your own boyfriend after what happened.

you don't know what to feel. after the incident, you didn't feel regret, much rather you felt good. but it just made you more confused and afraid. you can't understand what's going on with your hormones or yourself at the moment.

colby hasn't called or texted you, because he figured you needed space. it was clenching at your heart to keep this secret from him, but you don't know how to tell him either. it worries you that he might pack up and leave after you tell him, which you won't let happen.

you knew colby was at jc's party, but you denied going because you felt so uneasy about your feelings. everyone thought it was odd that you didn't want to join because you're normally such a party person. you've always been in the spotlight, or at least that's what people tell you.

you looked at his instagram story, and smiled at how good he looks in the new shirt you bought him. white was always his color, and you've definitely told him it so many times before. the color just suits him, not in the emo way but in the soft way, like his personality.

you shakily pressed call, as you put the phone to your ear and sniffled. a few rings passed before you heard the other line go through, signaling someone had picked up. "y/n?" colby's voice asked calmly, sort of confused as to why you're calling. "c-colbs." your shaky voice caused him to worry.

"yes princess, what's wrong?" he asked you in a hurriedly fashion. "i-i know i've been distant lately but c-can you come home? please? i-i-i really need to talk t-to you." your voice started breaking as you felt tears brim your eyes once again. "yes of course. i'll be right there." the line went dead after his response.

you let out a shaky breath, not knowing how to rehearse this. how are you going to tell him this information? hell it could ruin your relationship. it could jeopardize everything you have with him, possibly even your close friendship you both had before getting together.

your thoughts filled your head so much you didn't realize about fifteen minutes had passed. you heard his footsteps get closer to the door, and you started shaking out of nervousness. the door opened, and you looked up at him in the doorway.

you had a puffy face with tear stains painted on it, and red eyes that were evident in the dark room. colby's eyes widened a little with worry as he turned on the lamp placed on your bedside table. he sat down next to you, taking your smaller hands in his larger ones.

"hey, baby what's going on?" his soft voice echoed in your ears as he gently pushed a strand of hair behind your left ear. "p-please don't be mad at me." you whispered to him, and started shaking a little more. colby shook his head as to signal he wouldn't be, and his eyebrows furrowed.

"i kissed someone else." you said and looked up at him after a few moments. his face was in shock, but also despair. colby suddenly tried to let go of your hands, "y/n i-" you cut him off before he could get too ahead of himself. "except, it was a girl." you said, and it made him stop in his tracks.

you kept looking down, too afraid to look him in the eyes. "i-i don't know what's going on. but when it ha-appened i wasn't offended by it. i-i sort of, l-liked it?" you questioned, and you felt as though you had a frog in your throat that was preventing you from speaking. "c-colby i'm sorry i did it, i-i don't know what's wrong with me."

you started to cry again, and colby pulled you in close. he subtly ran his fingers through your hair, and you let it out into his chest. you wrapped your legs around his waist, so you could be as close to him as possible. "i-i don't understand.." you whimpered into his shoulder.

it took a little bit, but you finally calmed down enough to speak. you pulled away from his chest, and looked down at your rapidly shaking hands. colby once again pushed some hair behind your ear that was stuck to your wet cheeks. "babygirl it's okay to be curious. i'm not mad at you."

you looked at him. "i think i'm b-bisexual." you concluded, and he smiled a little and nodded his head. "and that's perfectly okay. there's nothing wrong with you because you're not straight, you're just attracted to both genders. but i do have one question, does that mean you're breaking up with me?" he asked you.

you looked at him with wide eyes and frantically shook your head no. "no! i love you colby!" you rushed out and he caressed your cheek to stop you before you freaked out once again. "okay baby, that's all i wanted to know. and no this won't hurt our relationship to know that you kissed a girl, it's not your fault you're confused." you nodded and he kissed your forehead.

you were still shaking slightly due to the panic attack you had before all of this went down. colby took your hands and held them together in his own before he kissed your little fingers. you smiled and colby looked up at you. he wrapped his strong arms around you and pulled you back onto his lap.

you were sitting in a cradle position as you held onto his bicep, him gently rubbing and caressing your legs. he kept kissing your forehead and temple over and over again to signify that it's all going to be alright. "thank you for telling me. i'm glad you trusted me enough to talk it out with me." he whispered in your ear.

you smiled a little, "of course." you felt your eyelids getting heavy, and you soon fell asleep in his arms as he gently rocked you back and forth to keep you comfortable.
