ROOSEVELT HOTEL

YOUR POV

you, colby and brennen were at the roosevelt hotel. you knew a lot about this place and that's what makes you not want to come. but you decided to go nonetheless because of colby, and you knew spirits tend to be fond of him.

you don't like to deal with anything paranormal, so you're not too thrilled. colby gripped your hand as you all walked inside, brennen talking to his vlog camera.

"are you guys scared?" brennen asked you. you nodded and colby just widened his eyes. "obviously i'm scared!" colby commented making brennen laugh.

you guys kept walking until you got into the elevator, your stomach dropped entering the elevator. you squeezed colby's hand hard, causing him to look at you.

"what's wrong y/n?" colby whispered in your ear, not to draw attention to you. you just looked at him and your eyes were teary. "i'm so scared." you responded and colby pouted, wiping the corners of your eyes.

colby put both of his hands on either side of your jaw and looked into your eyes. you closed your eyes and felt nervous, colby pushed the right side of your head into his chest and used his free hand to rub your back soothingly.

as soon as the door opened brennen walked out, leading you to the hotel room. you hurried in and cuddled into the bed, shaking slightly at how fast your heart is racing.

colby sat next to you on the bed, rubbing your thigh from outside the covers. "it'll be okay babe, we aren't staying overnight." you nodded quickly, being extremely fond of that idea. colby held his hand out and you pulled out yours from underneath the covers, gripping his firmly.

"you guys want to go find that mirror from suite 1200? marilyn's suite where she lived for two years." you looked at colby and he looked back at you. you gave him a nod, not wanting to stay alone and not wanting to ruin brennen's video.

you all stood up and walked to the suite, and there was a mirror there. you looked in and saw an apparition appear beside you. it was marilyn, and she looked frightened. she spoke to you, "get out of here. something bad is going to take place tonight."

your eyes slightly widened, and you nodded to her as the boys started to discuss going back to the room. she smiled and nodded before disappearing into thin air. you went into the hotel room, extremely shook at what you've just experienced.

colby noticed your state, and pulled you aside. "are you feeling okay? you look like you've seen a ghost." you just snapped out of it and smiled at him, "yea i'm fine. go do the ouija board with brennen." colby smiled softly and kissed your forehead before going over to brennen.

you were sitting on the bed while they were playing, when all of a sudden you got chills. you looked over your shoulder and saw marilyn once again. "hurry, you have to get out. you're running out of time." you got nervous again and she gestured towards the door.

you looked and saw a dark figure. you were studying it when colby raised his voice. "just.. give us a sign that you're here!" a bang was made towards the door and him and brennen flipped out. your eyes were widened as the figure disappeared before letting you get a closer look.

you shook everything off, feeling goosebumps throughout your body. "guys i think we should go." you mumbled and it got colby's attention. you looked at him as he patted his lap and you sat on it while he kissed your head multiple times.

"are you scared, y/n?" colby asked, and you nodded. you couldn't lie anymore, and after a while colby said he had to go to the bathroom. you heard coughing, and rushed to the bathroom door. "colby?" you asked, but received no answer.

brennen soon walked over when colby's coughs became more violent. after a while colby opened the door and didn't look so good. "i tried to throw up, but nothing came up." he said rubbing his stomach. you walked over and gripped his free wrist.

"come on babe, we have to leave. now." you tugged on him, and he furrowed his brows. "why baby what happened?" colby asked you. you shook your head as tears brimmed your eyes. "i'm scared to say.." you whispered and looked up at colby.

he saw your state and brought you over to the bed. "tell me baby, so i know what happened to you." you nodded, feeling a tightening in your chest as you looked at him. "in the hallway, in the mirror. i saw an apparition, of marilyn. but she spoke to me, she told me that we have to get out. that something bad is going to happen." colby looked at brennen for a few seconds before focusing back on you.

"a-and when you guys were playing the ouija board i saw her again when i looked over my shoulder. she said that we're running out of time and then pointed towards the door. i looked over and saw a dark figure and then you asked for a sign. and it said 'tick tock, time's up.' and then it gave you that bang. i just don't feel safe. we need to go colby." you looked at him and had fear behind your eyes.

colby nodded grabbing everything and taking your hand. "brennen we have to go!" he pleaded but brennen wanted to stay. "i have to try and stay, for the views bro." colby just looked at him in disbelief for a second, and then nodded leaving the room.

you were following colby, and got into the elevator. once arrived at the bottom floor the door opened and a huge bang happened above you as you exited. you yelped and colby ran for his life while grasping your hand. you got into his car and he sped off.

you were crying at this point. colby pulled up to the trap house and grabbed you. he pulled you onto his lap, "i'm sorry. i shouldn't have taken you there. shhh... it's okay now. we're safe, i got you." you calmed down as colby brought you up to his room and laid down with you.

you felt comfortable and fell asleep shortly. colby wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close, kissing your forehead. you smiled in your sleep and he too, closed his eyes at the warmth of your tiny figure.
