"y/n you can't keep seeing this boy. he's human and you're a supernatural." dr. saltzman said. you just looked down, frustrated.

"but alaric i like him! he doesn't have to know what i am to like who i am!" you fired back as you defended him.

"y/n, get rid of him or i'll get rid of you." he warned but you stood your ground although you were stunned.

"you can't possibly mean that! throw me out of the school?!" you asked completely shocked.

"you're damn right i mean it." and with that, alaric walked out of the room after slamming the door.

tears pooled your eyes as you stormed up to your room. you pulled out your phone and saw text messages from him. you smiled a little but it quickly faded.

you texted him to meet you at the dock behind the school. he told you that he was already there and you just got up and went over to him.

he noticed the tears and rushed over to you. "y/n, why are you crying?" he asked worriedly. you just wiped them away as you took a deep breath.

"colby i... we can't see each other anymore.." you sniffled. he furrowed his eyebrows as he gave your upper arms a gentle squeeze.

"what do you mean y/n? why?" colby asked confused. you just shook your head and looked down.

"it's hard to explain but.. we can't be together. it's wrong. we're complete opposites." you tried to persuade him into leaving, but he just wouldn't get it.

"just because i got to a public school and you go to a private school doesn't mean we're opposites!" colby was desperately trying to hold on to you.

"that's not what i mean by opposite colby.." he was starting to get annoyed with you. you were getting irritated and your tribrid self was rising to the surface.

"then what DO you mean?! y/n i'm not going to get played again by another stuck-up girl, who thinks she's better than everyone else! so please, enlighten me on what you do mean!" his voice screamed at you, and you let out all your supernatural emotions.

your eyes turned yellow as the veins popped out from underneath them and you turned around, screaming as your witch power made a giant wave in the lake.

colby looked at you, amazed. he examined your features, stunned by the miracle of your existence. you turned around, realizing what you had just done.

"no.. don't hide from me please. you're incredible.." you slowly turned around as your eyes went back to their normal state. you sighed and looked away as a tear fell down your cheek.

"please don't tell anyone.." you begged, barely above a whisper. he shook his head, "no, no, no. i would never." colby said to you with the softest voice as he cupped your cheeks. you looked at him as he wiped your tears away.

"i love you colby.." you spoke as you connected foreheads. he smiled at you, "i love you too baby." you leaned in and he met you in the middle. the kiss was passionate, yet soft.

you pulled away and held his wrists. "dr. saltzman said if i don't stop seeing you, he'll throw me out of the school. but i really can't lose you colby.. i just can't."

colby pulled you into him and held your waist. you leaned into him as you thought about what would happen if you lost each other.

"y/n. i thought i told you not to see him anymore." you heard alaric from behind you. colby looked up immediately as you turned around.

"alaric p-please.." you begged but he just got more pissed off. alaric stepped closer but colby pulled you to him.

"dr. saltzman please hear me out. i have no intention of hurting y/n or using her. i also have no intention of letting your school's secret run wild. i think it's incredible how supernatural beings can exist. it's actually awesome how you have gifts that were never thought possible. seriously, i will keep your secret safe, and i swear that on my life." alaric looked at you after colby said his speech.

you just nodded towards alaric and he pursed his lips into a thin line as he sighed. "okay, but if our secret gets out, it's on you y/n."

you looked at colby as alaric walked away. you took his hand and took him up to your room. you sat on your bed as you kissed while having a deep conversation.

before you knew it you were making out with him on top of you. he pulled away so you could breathe and he tucked a piece of hair behind your ear. "you're beautiful, y/n. every part of you."

you blushed and looked away. colby smiled as he kisses your cheek and he moved to behind your ear. colby knows you love being kissed behind the ear because that's your sensitive spot.

you got goosebumps as soon as his lips hit it. colby giggled and it sent shivers down your spine. you got a sniff of colby's blood, realizing you were hungry. you pushed him off quickly as your eyes turned monstrous again.

you looked away, trying to control it. you took deep breaths and tried focusing on anything other than blood. colby tapped you and you looked at him, "here.." he held out his wrist.

you shook your head and stood up, grabbing a blood bag from the stash you had. you quickly drank it and threw it away, turning back to colby. "i can't hurt you, especially when you don't heal like we do."

"i would do anything for you, angel. all you have to do is say the word." colby said as he sat down on the bed, you walked over to him and put your hands on his shoulders.

"i love you, i do but i love you too much to drink from you." colby just hummed as he kissed your neck gently while he slowly slid his hands up your sundress.

"colby, not tonight.." he chuckled which made you shiver, and just took his hands out before receiving a text from sam asking where he was.

"i have to go babydoll, but i'll see you tomorrow." colby winked at you as he left out the secret way he came in.

you fell onto your bed, completely love struck and you just smiled. you turned out your bedside lamp as you fell into a deep slumber, ready to see what tomorrow would bring you.
