Maya:

I let the soldier out of my headlock and he started to take in the much-needed air. I won. He tapped out first and I won, and best of all I got the couch. The victory was starting to settle in as I realized I had just beaten the Winter Soldier in hand-to-hand combat. I stood up and ducked under the flimsy rubber bands that surrounded the perimeter of the square. I walked over to the bench with the pile of money on it which also had my water and took a much need sip from the bottle. I hadn't realized how out of breath I was until I was standing beside everyone. I went to the shelf to get a towel, and on my way, I took two twenties from the money pile.

"Hey!" I heard an unfamiliar voice say, "That's our pool!" they continued.

"Too bad," I say amused, looking over to the Winter Soldier who looked like he had completely given up. He was just lying down in the wrestling ring trying to catch his breath. I turn around and see that the complaining man was Sam Wilson. I continue to wipe myself with my towel while he continued to complain.

"...Yeah but-"

"Don't you think that Bucky and I should get some of the cash since we were the ones you were betting on?" I said in an mused tone. I was aware that I was getting off on the wrong foot with Sam but I'm sure he knew it was a joke.

"Yeah, I guess," Sam said reluctantly.

"Okay great! Natasha, do you have any shampoo and soap I could borrow?" I asked her off to the side while everyone else was talking.

"Yeah, I have some extra that I just bought a few days ago, I can drop it off in your room in a few minutes," Natasha said.

"Thanks," I said, I grabbed another five-dollar bill just to piss everyone off and quickly walked out of the training facility before anyone could say anything. I walk down the hall that leads into the living room and made a right for the fridge. Inside the gigantic fridge was a bunch of food labelled with names from the Avengers.

"Damnit," I muttered.

"Is there anything you would like to eat Ms. Alton?" A voice said, and I jumped.

"Um, hello?" I questioned, not knowing where the voice was coming from.

"Hello Ms. Alton, I'm FRIDAY, I'm Mr. Stark's artificial intelligence assistant. Is there anything I can help you with?" FRIDAY said.

"Um, is there any way I could get a protein shake or something?" I said. As weirded out as I was, I wasn't going to turn down the food that the AI was offering.

"Sure, and what flavour would you like?" the AI asked.

"Um, could I get strawberry banana with vanilla protein powder? If you have it?" I asked. If FRIDAY could get me this smoothie then I would be depending on her for a lot of things for the next few weeks.

"Sure thing Ms. Alton," F.R.I.D.A.Y. said. I waited in the kitchen for about a minute before a pink-ish smoothie appeared in the water dispenser. "Ms. Alton, your protein shake is here," the AI said.

"Um, thanks FRIDAY," I said, still confused as to how Tony managed to invent this. I grabbed the shake and walked down the corridor to my room. When I got back to my room Bucky still wasn't there so I decided to take a shower. I remembered that I needed to pick up some shampoo and soap from Natasha. I left my towel, protein shake, and water bottle in my room and left to go to Natasha's room. Since she was right next door, I only had to walk five seconds before I was knocking on her door.

She opened her door. "Oh hi, hold on. Come in," She said. I walked in and closed the door, and she walked out of sight before I could say anything. "Here you go, there's also a toothbrush and toothpaste, a brush, and a set of razors. Oh, and a first aid kit," Natasha added while handing me a plastic bag.

"Oh, thanks. I really don't need all of thi-"

"No, of course, you do. You probably haven't been in great living conditions for the past few years. I can tell you right now that Stark won't make living here easy on you, but I'll do my best to make up for it. Also, we're going shopping tomorrow," Natasha interrupted. I didn't really understand why Natasha was being so nice, she had quite a different reputation among us assassins, plus I really didn't deserve to be treated the way Natasha was treating me right now.

"Thank you... for doing this for me, you really don't need to. You are right about Stark though, so far he's been a pain in my ass," I say while forcing out a smile and a quick laugh. Natasha chuckled lightly. "I'm going to go to bed, I know it's pretty early but I feel like it's one in the morning. Thanks for everything, I'll see you tomorrow," I say while leaving to close the ten feet between me and my room. Once I get in my room I hear the shower running, meaning that Bucky was back, and was in the shower. I go through the bag of things that Natasha had given me, there was exactly what she said there was. I decided to get changed into sweatpants and another tank top from the duffle bag given to me. While I was picking out a new tank top to put on I heard the bathroom door click open. I quickly turned the other way while grabbing the top I wanted before Bucky could walk out the door, I tried my best to quickly pull the shirt over my head but failed miserably. After I put the shirt on, I turn to Bucky and see him standing there, staring in nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist.

" What... did you enjoy the view?" I said with confidence rolling off my tongue, but a hint of amusement there as well.

"Well, I don't hate it," He said with a small laugh. I pick up the bag that Natasha gave me along with my protein shake and walk past him into the bathroom.

"Well don't get too flustered there, soldier," I said looking up at him, while patting his shirtless shoulder twice and swinging the bathroom door shut, the door clicked with a loud thud.

I hadn't gotten the time to actually look at the bathroom, which was huge by the way.  The shower walls were made of marble and the door was made of glass. The countertop had two sinks, so Bucky and I wouldn't be sharing, which is good, because I'm pretty sure the guy is starting to hate me, but I wouldn't blame him, after, I stole the couch. Bucky had already claimed the sink furthest away from the bathroom door so I claimed the left sink - the one closer to the door. I take a sip of my -now half-empty - protein shake and set it down beside the sink. I grab the shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a razor out of the bag and set them in the shower, I turn on the shower so that the water would be cold, brush out my hair, strip, and get in.
