Chapter 4

Jack's pov

The next morning, I was sitting on the couch upside down, watching Jeremy Sprinkler or something like that. I was bored out of my mind and begging for something to do.

"Jack, where is the new addition?" Slender asked me.

"Hm? Oh, yeah. Probably still sleeping." I told him. To be honest, I totally forgot about her. Although I don't see how, no one has ever put up a fight that much. Or has ever been that vicious. Not even Seed acted like that when I found him.

Besides, she's kind of pretty. At least to me...

"Don't you think you should wake her?" he asked.

"Isn't that your job?" I deadpanned.

"Well, you took over that job when you became her 'Alpha'." he told me. If I had eyes, I'd be rolling them.

"Ugh. Fine." I said, "I've got nothing better to do anyway."

Cydo's pov

I was awoken by a knock at my door. I opened my eyes and was confused as to where I was. At least until my Alpha walked in.

"Come on. It's time to wake up." he told me, and I wiped the sleep from my eyes with one hand.

"No one will ever get you to talk will they?" he asked me. I looked him up and down. He wore the same thing as yesterday, but he didn't carry the scent of blood.

"What?" he questioned. I dipped my head and looked down. He shook his head slightly. Slender suddenly appeared in my room and I jumped. I heard my Alpha snicker.

"Sorry to have frightened you child. Here are your clothes." Slender told me as he handed me my clothes from yesterday. I nodded my thanks to him as I took them.

"You've really gotta learn to knock man." Alpha told him.

"Why's that?" Slender asked.

"Because A, you keep scaring the shit out of everyone and B, what if she was nude?"

"You were in here so I knew she wasn't. And this long staying here and all of you still jump when I appear. You all should be used to it."

"She considers me her Alpha. She could've been nude. And we can't be expecting you to appear at every second of every day."

I dipped my head lower and became slightly embarrassed of their conversation. I put a hand on my forehead and shook my head. I picked up my clothes and went into the bathroom to change.

'What is wrong with males?' I asked myself as I changed.

When I came back, my Alpha, Jack, was sitting on my bed, leaning on the headboard. He looked up at me as I walked out.

"You hungry?" he asked me. I just looked at him. If I tell him I'm hungry he'll probably give me human food. I'm not ready to talk yet. If I say I'm not he'll know I'm lieing. What do I do?

"Stay here. I'll get you something to eat." he told me as he walked out. I sat down on the bed on my legs. I sighed and leaned forward. Laying down in a ball.

'An Alpha. I never thought I'd have one. It's like a cage that I don't want to get out of. I love my Alpha.' I thought before he returned. I sat up.

He placed a plate of food on my bed in front of me as he sat down. I looked at it before looking at him.

"Come on. You need to eat something. I'm sure you're hungry." he told me. As if answering me, my stomach growled.

"See? You're hungry. Eat." he said, poking my stomach. I yipped because it tickled and moved away from him a bit.

"Come on. Eat." he said pushing the plate closer to me, "I promise Masky's cooking won't kill you."
