Chapter 26

Jack's pov

The next morning, I woke up to Cydo moving. Her hands and feet would twitch as well as her head and even ears. It would be comical if she hadn't been curled up against my side.

I guess that's another thing to add to the list, her ears move. Then again, there's plenty of humans who can wiggle their ears. It's not really important at the moment.

I decided to go downstairs for something to eat before Cydo woke up. I figured I'd let her sleep a little longer.

I carefully slipped out of bed, being mindful as to not wake her. I grabbed my mask and slipped it on before slipping out the door. I headed downstairs and into the kitchen.

I pulled out a jar of kidneys from a cabinet and removed a couple. I put the jar back and headed for the living room. I sat on the couch, watching tv as I ate. I'd just finished when a voice echoed in my head.

"Jack, come to my study please." Slender told me. Great, probably another mission. But possibly the book...

I got up and immediately went to the study doors. I was expected, so I just walked right in. Slender was sitting behind his desk, as usual.

"I expected Cydo to follow." Slender mentioned.

"You didn't ask for her. Did you want her?" I asked.

"No, no. Where is she at the moment?"

"Asleep."

"You didn't wake her yet?" he asked, something about his tone was... Off, "You should go wake her, and keep her within sight."

"No. And, why?"

"Because it's nice to see you Jack! And my dear brother!" a voice came from behind me. The voice wasn't too cheery, but wasn't calm enough either. It was... Lustful.

I turned around to glare at Offenderman. Son of a Bitch. I quickly turned back to Slender.

"A warning would've been nice." I told him.

"Trust me, had I known sooner, I would've told everyone. You being first." Slender told me, annoyance woven into his staticy voice.

"Oh come now! I'm not all that bad!" Offender said. We both just glared at him.

"A decent person tells someone ahead of time that they're raiding their house." I deadpanned.

"I was just too eager to meet the new pasta to think about that." Offender told us.

"Maybe I won't let you near her." I growled.

"So the rumors are true. It is a girl!"

"Back off."

"Enough. Both of you. Offender, do Not try anything. Jack, don't let Cydo out of your sight. And no fighting. I will punish whoever started it." Slender boomed.

"Fine." I spat.

"Alright." Offender said before walking out the door.

"Jack, try to keep Cydo from killing him." Slender told me.

"Fine. But, if she attacks him, just know. He asked for it." I told him before walking out the study as well.

Jeff and BEN were standing in front of the couch, facing Offender, who was behind it. Obviously, they were unhappy about the visitor as well.

"Jack, what the fuck? Where's Cydo?" Jeff asked.

"Asleep as far as I know. Just keep an eye on fuckface in case I'm not with her." I deadpanned.
