Chapter 28

Jack's pov

She lunged and pinned me under her. I'm not giving up on My Cydo.

Cydo growled loudly, but I growled back. There was a loud thump before Cydo was thrown back, into the wall. Seed charged at her as she hit the ground.

"Seed! Don't hurt her!" I commanded.

He huffed in understanding and continued. She began to get up, but Seed put a massive paw on her and pushed her back down. Now he had her pinned.

Then I remembered. Cydo could always push him. Did he let her? Or was she that strong? I guess we'll find out.

"Hold her there Seed!" I told him.

Cydo started to get up and Seed started to whine. He placed both front paws on her to keep her down.

"Put your full weight on her!" I commanded again.

He hunched over her and began pushing against her. Cydo growled again, louder this time. Seed didn't want to give in though. He roared back, slamming his full weight down on her.

She hissed in pain, and I started to feel bad, but I had to figure out how to snap her out of this. Before more damage could be done.

Cydo began to make a new hissing sound. As if there was air coming out of a busted pipe or something. Seed slammed onto the ground and Cydo was now next to him.

What just happened?...

Cydo lunged at me, but I jumped out of the way in time for her to fly by. The moment she landed, I was on her. I grabbed her and slammed her back to the ground as she tried getting up. I placed a knee between her shoulder blades and growled in her face. I applied pressure as she struggled.

She hissed in pain and started making the other hissing sound. I didn't know how to stop it, so I just let it. The next instant, I was on the ground, breathless, and she was on me.

Cydo hissed in my face and I flipped over, knocking her down. I reached for her, but she got me first. She grabbed my neck and growled as I grabbed her wrist. She was... bonier than normal. And she kind of smelled,... Dead.

She began jerking forward and I had to grab her throat to keep her head back. I heard a clicking, like teeth snapping together. Fuck. Please don't eat me.

I heard a thump before Cydo was jerked off of me. Seed had his jaws wrapped around her and was swinging her around. God damn it, why did I have to be so damn sore? I could've knocked her out or something...

Why did I have to open the damn door...

Cydo started hissing and I knew what was about to happen.

"Seed! The moment she disappears, go get Slender!" I shouted.

Suddenly, Cydo was behind him and he raced out the door. She can't see him, so she can't follow. I tackled her before she could move, and threw her against the wall.

Wait, if she can't see...

I moved to the bars of the cage and threw a stone at her. You'd think Slender would've kept this place cleaner. I raced out the door and to the same place I stood, but on the other side of the bars.

Cydo lounged at me again, but this time, she crashed into the bars. Hard. She stumbled a moment before leaping for them again, stearing clear of her head. She reached her arms through the bars and I let her grab mine.

For a reason.

The moment she got a good hold on me, and began pulling me closer, I gave her a nice hard jerk. Her head crashed on the bars and she instantly let go of me. She collapsed on the ground and I realized that the smoke was thinner.
