Chapter 9 - Doing Homework

"And so ends our lesson for today" Monokuma-sensei said.

"Hey! Aoi-chan! Wake up!" Sayaka whispered.

"Eh? Is it over?" Asahina rubbed her eyes. "Yay! Lunch time!".

"Hold on just one second, I have homework"

The whole class sighed, well except for Kirigiri who seems to ignore everything.

Monokuma-sensei handed out sheets of paper containing 40 questions.

"Alright then, class dismissed" Monokuma-sensei said as he exited the class.

Togami tapped your shoulder lightly, "Hey, I need to--"

"Oh hi there Bya-- I mean, Togami-kun, sorry can't talk right now" you said as you speed-walked outside of the classroom.

"[your name]! Wait up!"

"Oh Asahina, hello" you said nervously.

"We're eating lunch together, right?" Sayaka asked.

"Um yeah, of-of course"

"Well, lets go then!" Asahina said as she pulled your arm.

Outside, on your usual spot under the tree, Naegi, Leon, and Togami were already waiting.

"What took you guys so long?" Naegi asked.

"Oh nothing, really" Sayaka smiled.

Just then Kirigiri walked past, and Naegi stared at her.

"Aw that's so cute Naegi-kun!" Sayaka cooed.

"Eh?"

"It's really cute how you stare at Kirigiri-san" Asahina chimed in.

"W-What are you guys talking about!" Naegi blushed.

"Oh you've got to be kidding us, man. Everyone knows you have this dorky little crush on her" Leon rolled his eyes.

"N-No I don't!" Naegi blushed even redder.

"You're really red Naegi-kun" Sayaka teased.

"Sh-Shut up.."

As Sayaka, Leon, and Asahina teased Naegi, you and Togami sat next to each other resting your backs on the tree.

"As I was trying to tell you earlier" he suddenly said. "I need to--"

"Ahaha! You're really red Naegi-kun!" you said as you acted as if Togami wasn't there.

"Oh! I've been meaning to ask you guys" Sayaka said. "How about we do our homework at Togami-kun's house?"

"Eh?" your eyes grew bigger.

"Is it fine, Togami-kun?" Sayaka pleaded.

"I suppose" Togami sighed and he readjusted his glasses.

"Whaddya say? How does tomorrow sound? After school, maybe?"

"Sure" Naegi said.

"Guess so" Leon said.

"Yay! Of course I'll come!" Asahina cheered.

"Uh um" you stuttered.

"What about you, [your name]?" Sayaka asked.

"Er I'd have to check with my dad first"

"Oh, that's okay" Asahina smiled.

"But knowing this is Togami's house, you're dad will surely say yes!" Sayaka smiled mischievously.
