Chapter 7 - Art Class

After 2 days of not attending school, you're finally walking down the big hallways on your way to your classroom.

"Good morning" you greeted as you entered the class.

"[your name]!!" Sayaka and Asahina yelled as they ran to hug you.

The three of you tumbled to the floor as the two excited girls squealed in delight in your arms.

"School was super boring without you!" Sayaka said.

"Yeah! We didn't have anything to talk about besides how worried we were about you!" Asahina frowned.

"Eh?! R-Really?!"

"Yeah!" Sayaka said.

"Please don't ever leave us again!" Asahina hugged you.

"U-Um I'll try.." you smiled.

"I see you're doing fine" a voice said behind you.

You turned your head.

"A-Ah! G-Good morning Byakuya"

Sayaka and Asahina eyed each other with the same mischievous smiles plastered on their faces.

"We'll just be going now" Sayaka said.

"Where?" Asahina asked.

"Just come on" Sayaka said as she pulled Asahina away.

"H-Hey! What about-- oh I get it! See you soon [your name]!"

As the two girls walked away giggling to each other, you and Togami were standing together awkwardly.

"So are you feeling fine?" he asked.

"Um yeah, I guess"

"Oh, I see..." he said as another awkward silence started.

"Er I should be going now--"

"I know you know" Togami said suddenly.

"Um excuse me?"

"I know you know" he whispered in your ear.

"You know I know what?" this conversation was getting more and more confusing for you.

"In the infirmary, I know you were pretending to be asleep, am I right?"

"E-Eh?"

"You heard everything I said, didn't you?" he asked hiding a blush with his hands.

"I-I..Um I--" but before you could finish, Togami walked away, feeling embarrassed.

Later that day you were sitting quietly in class -not really- listening to Naegi talking on and on about action movies.

"You see it's all in the lighting, you need to position your camera in the perfect angle to catch the perfect lighting so your movie will be just-- Hey, are you listening?"

Well, lets just be honest you weren't completely listening, well, you weren't listening at all. You were just staring at the clean whiteboard as if in a trance.

"Um hello? Earth to [your name] can you please return from whichever planet you were on?" Naegi said snapping his fingers in front of your face.

"I'm sorry, what were we talking about?" you asked.

"Ahaha, looks like you have a lot in your mind" Naegi laughed.

"Um sort of"

You looked at your watch.
