Chapter 21 - Movies

Ding Dong!

You grunted in your bed.

Ding Dong!

"Dad better go and open the door" you thought, feeling rather annoyed.

DingDongDingDong!

You got up and stomped out of your room, slamming the door shut after.

DingDongDingDongDingDong!

"Calm down! Jeez, I'm coming" you called and ran down the stairs.

DingDongDingDongDingDongDingDongDingDongDingDongDingDong--

"Quit it!" you yelled and yanked the door open.

Standing in front of youーwith a sickening smirk on his faceーwas no other than Togami Byakuya.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty" he teased and chuckled to himself.

You closed the door without a word.

DingDongDingDongDingDong--

"Stop it" you said and opened the door again.

"Well someone's a little cranky today" he mumbled.

How could you not be cranky? HE JUST WOKE YOU UP AT 7AM ON A SATURDAY. Not to mention probably breaking your doorbell.

"Why are you here, exactly?" you asked.

"Just wanted to pick you up" he said casually.

"Why?"

"I want to show you something"

"Like, right now?" you asked.

"No, next year" he said sarcastically.

You sighed.

"Okay fine, whatever. Just let me go and take a shower"

Suddenly Togami smiled and patted your head.

"You know you look kind of cute with your bed head" he said and your face flushed.

"Can I open my eyes now?" you asked.

You were walking along in Togami's huge mansion. Well, at least you thought you were. Togami was covering your eyes with his hands.

"Keep walking, we're almost there" he said as he guided you away.

"You know, normally I would think your house is super big. But now, with my eyes closed, it feels like your house grew twice its usual size" you said.

"It's a mansion, not a house" he said arrogantly.

"Same thing" you shrugged.

Togami rolled his eyes.

"Are we there yet?" you asked impatiently.

"Yes" he said.

"So can I.. um.. see?"

Togami uncovered your eyes to reveal a door in front of you.

"I'm clueless" you said.

"It's a theater" he said and adjusted his white-rimmed glasses.

"Wait what? Theater?!" you said in amazement.

"My parents just installed it" he smiled arrogantly.

"Okay then, big surprise over, can I go home now?" you asked.

"Well" Togami started and a blush appeared on his face. "I was wondering if we could watch a few movies together"

"Eh?" you blushed too. "I don't know, I kinda have something to do--"

"I have a popcorn machine--"

"I'M IN!~"

So now there you were, watching movies with Togami.

The theater room was big. It had a big screen, two rows of comfy couches and a pile of beanbags were scattered around the floor.

In the corner of the room stood a table with a popcorn machine and bowls full of snacks. There was also a mini vending machine.

You enjoyed the first two movies. But later, Togami decided to watch a murder mystery movie.

You groaned as you sprawled yourself on top of the pile of beanbags.

"Byakuya, the movie's too complicated" you complained. "Can we watch another one? Pleaseeeee?~"

"Shh, it's starting to get interesting" he said as he positioned himself on the couch.

You pouted and slowly got up.

You sat behind him and covered his eyes.

"Peek-a--" you uncovered his eyes. "boo!~"

You covered and uncovered his eyes over and over again.

"Peek-a-boo! Peek-a-boo!" you giggled.

"[your name] stop it" he said annoyed.

You ignored him and covered his eyes.

"Make me" you teased and smirked.

Togami got up and sat next to you.

He stared at you, not saying anything.

Suddenly, he yanked your head, making your head land on his lap.

"What are you--"

"At least try to understand the movie" he said and continued to watch the movie.

"But it's sooooo complicated" you pouted.

"For me?"

"Fine.." you sighed and turned to the screen.

After sometime, Togami stretched his arms.

"I better take you home" he said and petted your head, which was still on his lap.

"Just a minute. I think I know who the murderer is!" you announced proudly.

"Enjoying yourself?" he asked and smiled. "I thought this movie was too complicated"

"Shut up. You're just jealous that I found out the culprit before you did" you said.

"Baka" he chuckled and leaned in, giving you a quick peck on your cheek.
