Chapter 12 - The Aquarium

"[your name]-chan look at that one over there!" Asahina pointed at a blue fish. "It looks so cool!"

"So pretty!" you gawked.

"Ah! That one! Look!" Sayaka pointed.

"Kawaii~!" you and Asahina squealed.

"Grow up will 'ya? Jeez the three of you sound like a bunch of 2 year olds" Leon rolled his eyes.

"Now, now, let's not start a ruckus" Naegi laughed.

"Tell me again, why on earth are we here?" Togami said annoyed.

All of you had decided to go to the Aquarium to spend the day.

"And why did you all bring me here?"

Oh did I mention Kirigiri was there too?

"Come on Kirigiri-san! Don't be such a sourpuss! Have some fun!" Sayaka pulled her arm. "Let's go over there!"

"Wait up!" Asahina yelled. "Come on [your name]-chan!"

"Okay!" you trailed after the brunette.

As the boys followed behind, Sayaka stopped in front of a tank.

"Jellyfishes!" you gasped as you pressed your face against the glass. "Bya-- I mean, Togami-kun look!"

Togami stepped next to you.

"What's so fascinating about it?" he said blankly.

"Ish! You're no fun!" you said sounding like a six year old.

As you, Asahina, and Sayaka gawked at the group of jellyfishes swimming around, you heard someone talking.

You turned your head.

"But I think if he were to kill the mother, wouldn't the son have noticed by now?" Kirigiri said.

"Well, perhaps it'll all be explained sooner or later, but I still think the father is the culprit" Togami said.

"Are they talking about a mystery novel?" you asked yourself.

"Hey, what are you guys talking about?" you asked.

"You probably wouldn't understand, just go back to the jellyfish" Togami said not even looking at you.

"Rude" you grumbled under your breath.

You got back and stood between Asahina and Sayaka.

"Hey guys" Sayaka suddenly said.

"Hm? What is it?" Ashina asked not taking her eyes off of the tank.

"Do you think Kirigiri-san is getting a little too close to Togami-kun?"

What?

"H-Huh? Sayaka don't say such things!" you said.

"She has a point though, I mean they both have this mysterious sides of themselves, they're both cold and they both love mystery novels!" Asahina said.

"I guess it wouldn't surprise me if they started dating" Sayaka said.

Wait, what..?

You glanced over your shoulder to see Togami and Kirigiri still discussing who killed who and who stole what. You frowned.

"I'll never understand things like that.." you thought. "Maybe it wouldn't be so weird if they started dating.."

Behind Kirigiri, Naegi was probably thinking the same thing as you. He smiled at you weakly and you returned it with a knowing nod.
