Chapter 16 - Sorting Things Out

You poured some milk in your favorite cereal bowl.

"Do you have any plans for today?" your dad asked as he looked up from his newspaper.

"I don't think so" you shrugged and took a spoonful of cereal. "Asahina is entering a swimming tournament and Sayaka's doing a performance today"

"Good for them" he said and got back to reading.

Buzz Buzz

Your phone vibrated in your hands, signaling that you've just received a text.

Togami: Hey, you free today?

You: Eh? Why?

Togami: My parents bought me some new books, so I'm clearing out the old books in my library to make room for the new ones

You: Whaa..?

Togami: You can pick out the ones you want

You: Like, as in I can keep them?

Togami: Yes, baka

You: Wait let me ask my dad

"[your name], you know I don't like it when you play with your phone on the table" your dad snapped.

"Sorry" you said quietly. "Oh and uh, hey, dad"

"Yeah?"

"Can I go to Byakuya's house later? He's clearing out his library, so he said I can pick out some of his old books"

"Since when are you two dating?" he asked sarcastically.

"W-What?! N-No dad! No! Just--Just no.. Why would I even--no okay? No" you stuttered and blushed bright red.

"Kidding, sweetie! Kidding!" your dad laughed. "Sure, you can go. When should I pick you up?"

"I don't know.. I'll just call you when we're done"

"Okay, you better go and take a shower then"

"Yeah, sure" you said and stood up.

After washing the dishes, you texted Togami.

You: Yoo, dad said yes

Togami: Okay then

Togami: See you later, hero

"Ah good morning, Miss [last name], I was expecting you. Please, come inside" greeted Togami's butler.

"Good morning" you smiled.

You climbed up the grand staircase and walked up to Togami's door.

"Knockity Knock" you said and knocked on his huge white door.

"Who is it?" Togami called from inside.

"It's [your name]~!"

"Come in"

You slowly opened the door.

"Hey, so--" you stopped in the middle of your sentence.

"What?"

Togami was laying on his bed, shirtless.

"P-Put on a shirt, god dangit!" you shrieked and threw a pillow at him.

"Hey! Hey! My house, my rules!"

"Just go! Gogogogogo!" you said and pushed him into his bathroom.

"Hey! I said, my house, my rules!" Togami said, annoyed. "Now, let go! I need to watch this"

Togami went back to his bed and sat, resting his back against a nice, fluffy pillow.
