Present day*

"Mirae why are you staring at me?"

I just look in her eyes with full of happiness. I smiled at her, she's my only friend when i was in the Asylum. She have depression back then and was traumatized because of her sister's death, she saw her sister crashed on a truck and felt guilty that she can't do anything to save her sister.

"May dumi ba ko sa mukha?"

That night I saw her sitting on a bench and tears were dripping in her eyes, I gave her the handkerchief that Ms. Unknown gave to me back then. She smiled at me and treats me like her little sister.

"Alam kong maganda ako pero huwag mo namang sabihin na may gusto ka na sakin. OMG! TOMBOY KA BA?" I glared at her.

"Joke!" She laughed. "Why so serious Mirae? Any problem?" Then she continues to eat her ramen.

"I just remember how you help me to get out of there" I said.

"Nako wala yun, ikaw nga ang tumulong sakin eh. Diba dahil sayo nakawala ako sa depression ko. Then sabi ko kila Mommy na pati ikaw ilabas dun. Sa tingin ko kase di ka naman lukaret hehe" Then she peace sign.

I just rolled my eyes. That's why we're here at their own school. She's the freaking daughter of this school. The Brine Academy.

"Thank you for helping me" We're blockmates and we're taking law. You know why? To defense myself against the people who's accusing me that i'm the one who killed my family.

Many years past, after the people knew that i got out, many wants to turn me down. In short, my head is a major price.

As of now, many students here in Brine were trying to avoid me like i was a wanted person or a killer that's why Jerah is my only one friend.

"'Sus wala yun, what are friends for? Tsaka diba tutulungan pa kita sa korte?" I just smiled at her. She's the only one who can make me smile.

"Let's go we're getting late" I stood up and pull her up.

"T-teka lang yung ramen ko huhu" see? She has a double personality.

"Our class will start in 2 minutes" She pout. This girl! Tsk.

"Sige na nga tsaka magtagalog ka nga sumasakit yung ulo ko sayo"

"You know that I'm bad at saying tagalog" When she heard the tagalog word, she laughed at me and almost die because of lack of air. Just kidding.

"HAHAHA! ANG CUTE MO TALAGA MAG-TAGALOG, MAY ACCENT!" I saw the crowd glared at me and this crazy girl.

"Ewan ko sayo" I said. Then she laughed again.

"HAHAHA! MAMAMATAY AKO SAYO" I hit her arm.

"Aray, joke lang hehe tara na nga" then she smiled at me and cling her arms around me.

"Oh shoot! Nakalimutan kong time ni Prof. Cruz ngayon! Wahh tara na!" She just realized how terror Prof Cruz is. She run as fast as she can just to reach our room.

"Crazy.." I said as i walk towards our room.

I'm Mirae Raciel Clevon the only Child of Marie Clevon and Raze Clevon. That's Jerah Brine, the crazy girl who has a double personality and she's one year ahead of me. Her parents was my parents bestfriend and i'm thankful that they help me and treat me as their own daughter.
