When the sun rose Emma cleaned her sleepy eyes and looked around. The morning air was waving the white curtains of Norman's room. There was no sound

* Is everyone still sleeping? *

She looked out for him. She hoped what when she rose from her bed she would see his gentle smile and his ocean eyes. But he was gone. No sight of him. That's when she remembered that he told her the day before

" Still, I'm going to talk with them, Emma. I can't just forgive what Barbara did to you"

She sighted. Once again he was trying to handle things all by himself. Once again he was breaking his promise and Emma couldn't help but to be sad.

A side of her really wanted to bealive that Norman, was the same she knew in Grace Field House, the smart gentle kid who everyone loved. Still, he had something he kept from that time but...it felt different

*Norman seems so much more merciless and serious... is this the real him now, or is he trying to be strong because of me...of all of us?*

Emma couldn't find the answer. The only thing she wanted was for him to tell her the truth. To let go of the smile he always made and tell her his deepest fears and scars

She desperately wanted to save him from himself...take care of him...stay with him forever, together in the human world

"How selfish of me...Am I helping him or Am I making is life even more difficult?"

Emma muttered as the owls when backs to their nest in the glimpse of a new dawn. Still, the blessing light of that morning as only to Emma's eyes

Deep down in the cave, Vincent, Barbara and Cisclo didn't had the most friendly faces. Norman had a statue face, his cape on. Only a bare light hit his hair making a moon like environment on the dark room

" You all know why I called you here...no ones leaving until I say what I have to say"

" You mean... talking about how you betrayed us, right?"

Norman could feel the ar ticker. He still had his intimidating face on but he was aware of something else

* If they were to turn their blades against me I would be dead in a flash of a second or less*

Sure Norman had the brains, but in terms of physical strength he had always been so weak. In the mist of his toughs Emma's picture appeared vivid on his mind as he smiled without knowing very well why

* Oh...at least if I had brought Emma with me...after all she said she is my bodyguard...still I like more the idea of her being safe*

" I wouldn't say I betray you. I would say I had a change of plans what will be the best for all of us"

" Sorry boss but a plan which doesn't include killing demons doesn't seems good to me"

Vincent was very serious as he looked away. Cisclo backed off has he talked his mind. They had put all their effort and trust into Boss' plan...that felt their lifes being crushed

Vincent was the only one who stayed still beside Norman, puting a hand on his shoulder.

" Boss...we don't have much time. You know what, right? What if Emma's plan takes to long? Is it the right way to do things this way? Aren't you letting yourself being taken away by your feelings?"

Norman knew: he knew all the suffering they had been thought to get there, he knew the promise he made to himself: if it was needed he would become a God or a Devil for everyone's sake...he trow his humanity out
