Sansa and Ramsay: A Happy Ending That They Never Got

Chapter 40

Sansa's POV:

It has been a month since Jon left with Daenerys to go to Kings Landing. We should be getting word that they have arrived any day now. Ramsay was planning on going with them, but after everything with the twins it was best if he was around with me since I wasn't able to move around to my full abilities yet. I have gotten a lot better and can finally walk around, but it was still painful to touch and if I over exert myself I pay for it the next day for sure. Ramsay has been great with the twins and also taking care of Henry. Henry was easy for me to take care of but the twins are a handful.

With Henry I thought I fed him a lot but with the twins it was ten times worse because after one was done the next one needed milk. It was a lot of work, but I was just happy that they were healthy.

Ramsay walks into the bedroom with Henry in his arms. "We just wanted to say goodbye before we left on our horse ride around Winterfell." Ramsay said setting Henry down so he could give me a hug. "Well I hope you two are going to have fun today." I say giving Henry a hug goodbye. "Mummy I got a horse to ride!" Henry said all excited. "Oh really?" I say looking up at his father questioning. "I surprised him with a pony today and he named it Dark. Since the horse is black." Ramsay said laughing and I laughed as well. "What a wonderful name Henry" I say and he has a big smile on his face. "He's so fluffy mummy" Henry said clapping his hands together excited. "Well you two have fun, but don't be too long your sisters are going to get jealous with all the time papa is spending with you." I say and he looks over at Ramsay. "Oh know I don't want them to be mad at me!" Henry said and Ramsay picked him up. "Then we better get going now!" Ramsay said bending down and giving me a kiss before walking out with Henry on his shoulder.

I get up and get dressed into a loose dress and go and grab the girls who are sound asleep after all of that noise with Ramsay and Henry. I grab Catelyn and nurse her for a while while her sister is still sleeping. Then I switch and make sure that they are both fed. The two girls are both still sleepy and they still sleep for most of the time. I was thankful for that but when they start to get older it is going to get difficult. And for what is coming I don't know if Ramsay is going to be able to be around for a lot since the White Walkers are going to hit here first.

I look down at the two girls and sigh. As beautiful as they are they have been brought into a dangerous world. And I don't have the strength to save them all. I can't imagine White Walkers coming to get us but Ramsay and Jon believe what they saw and they are coming. One even killed Daenerys's dragons so they are powerful. 

A noise came from the door and Arya walked in. "Sansa how are the girls?" She asks coming over to their bassinet and smiling at them. "They are good, sleeping as usual." I say as I stand up to greet her. "And how are you feeling?" She asks asking me about my stomach and the wound. "Good, tired, but way better than yesterday. Hopefully soon I will not be such a burden." I say and Arya laughs. "Sansa, you gave birth to twins and had to get one of them cut out of you and you still lived. That's amazing all the maids have been talking about it." Arya said to me and I smiled. "The maids have been talking?" I say and she nods. "Yeah you are all they are gossiping about you and how lucky you are survived" Arya said and then got quiet afterwards. "It's okay Arya I know that I am lucky" I say and we both sit in chairs by the fire. "You know I was praying to the gods that you would be okay." Arya said and I smiled. "Thank you Arya that means a lot" I say and she looks at me and grabs my hand.

"Do you ever think that mother is watching?" Arya said and I smiled back at her. "I hope she is watching, I mean I would want her to see Henry and the girls." I say to her. "Do you think mother would be happy that you were with Ramsay?" "Well I don't think I would be with Ramsay if she was still here, then Rob would still be here and the Boltons wouldn't be at Winterfell" I say to her and she nods. "Would you change it? Would you want Rob and mother and father to all be alive?"

"I don't know" I said and looked down thinking. "As much as I want them to be here then I wouldn't have Henry or the girls" I say looking over at the twins sleeping. "Or Ramsay," I say and Arya nods. "Through everything that Ramsay and I have been through it has brought me a family. Although it was rocky at first what it has changed into has really been what I have always dreamed about." I say and once again Arya nods.

"I would kill to have them back, but you can't change the past, now there is only the future." Arya said standing up. As soon as she stood up the sound of the guards signaling that the gates are opening can be heard. "Looks like Ramsay and Henry are back," Arya said standing by the window. I pick up Catelyn who was stirring and brought her towards the window. "They are back earlier than I thought." I said since they just left in the late morning.

"Looks like there is someone else with with them." Arya says as Ramsay and Henry go through the gates on their horses. There is a horse carrying a load of what looks like Hay and another person on the wagon. I look at Henry and he is riding his horse looking adorable. Ramsay is holding a rope that connects to the horse so that Henry is safe and I smile at my two beautiful boys.

Ramsay gets off his horse and goes to the wagon to get the person off the back. "Someone get me a chair" I hear him yell as he grabs the person and picks him up and places him in the chair. "Someone go get my Wife and Arya," Ramsay yells and you see people running off. "Lets go" I say and Arya grabs Alessandra and we walk down the stairs. "Take the stairs easy you haven't left you room at all since the birth of the twins, don't exert yourself." Arya says and I nod trying not to drop Catelyn as I go down the winding stairs.

We go to the main courtyard and Ramsay walks towards me with Glenda. "Glenda will you get Alessandra," Ramsay says as he comes up to me and takes Catelyn and gives my forehead a kiss. As he holds Catelyn in one arm he has his arm around me. "Henry and I were on the horses when we spotted this cart, the wheel was broken so the guards and I went to help and fix it. Then I saw who was in the back and we brought him straight to Winterfell" Ramsay says and I turn and can make out the person in the cart.

"Bran?"

Hey guys I hope you liked this chapter! Sorry I haven't updated in a while but I am back in college and things are pretty hectic so don't expect frequent updates. I also want to make this a super good ending so the amount of planning for this is huge!
