36 ~ I always will

I'm sorry there havent been a lot of updates. I have been on a holiday and some crazy but amazing things happened in my life! But here is a new chapter for you guys. I'm going to try to get more up soon!

'Is it weird that I'm glad they escaped?' You asked.

Draco looked up from his newspaper. It had been awhile since Harry and his friends escaped but you never really spoke about it with anyone. You just kinda continued but felt like telling Draco.

'No I feel the same. Just because we're on this side doesn't mean we cant be happy when the good side wins. We're not completely evil.'

That was true. It made you feel better to know that he was still out there. Maybe this could still end. You knew it could. Even though you made this decision yourself you hoped Harry could end it.

You snatched the paper from his hand and put it down. Draco looked at you. His beautiful eyes looked straight into yours. It made you feel amazing.

'Why did you do that?' He asked.

'Because I want your attention.' You sighed.

Draco grinned and got up. He sat down besides you. You turned sideways on your chair and looked at him. He smiled and leaned in the kiss you.

'Oh, here you are.'

Draco looked up. It was Narcissa. You both sat up. She looked around and turned to you two. Why did she look around? There was literally no one here..

'Pleas follow me.'

You looked at Draco. He shrugged. You both got up and just did what she asked. She headed towards the stairs, went up them and took you up to Draco's room.

You had no idea what she could possibly want. It had been quiet at the manor lately. Voldemort was mostly discussing things with the adults, not with you and Draco.

It felt as if Narcissa was going to tell you something you weren't supposed to know. She was a little mysterious. Why go to his room?

Narcissa closed the door behind you and Draco. You both sat down on his bed and looked at her. She leaned against the door.

'I know to you guys the manor has been quiet.' She said. 'The dark lord is keeping you out of everything for now, but everything he discusses has to do with you.'

So these were things you couldn't know.. that was exciting. You liked a bit of gossip. This was clearly important else she wouldn't tell you.. right?

'What's going on?' Draco asked.

You were wondering about that too. This was so secretive, it felt mysterious. Was it mysterious? Was this a tea spill session?

'A battle is coming up.' Narcissa said.

You two kinda already knew that. It was pretty obvious seeing either Harry or Voldemort had to die in order for this to be over.

'We know that mum.'

'It's coming up next week.'

Next week? You had no idea things had been moving so quickly. When did they plan this? How could you possibly prepare in a week.

'A week?! When were they planning on telling us this?!' Draco asked.

'The day itself.' Narcissa simply said. 'I think you need time to prepare. That's why I'm telling you now. You guys are going to die if you don't prepare yourself.'

She was probably right. If you wouldn't have known you'd probably be so shocked you wouldn't be able to do anything. This was good.. you could practise with Draco. Prepare yourself so you wouldn't get killed.

'I want you to the be prepared. This is no joke. The risk of dying is incredibly high and I need you two to be prepared to fight for yourself. I'm not going to risk your lives.'

That was sweet. You didn't get why you two couldn't know about the battle being this close? That was your question.

'Why don't they tell us? We're death eaters too.' You asked.

'I don't know. I asked them the same questions. Just know that it's coming up. Prepare yourselves.. Draco, you're taking my wand.'

Draco nodded. Narcissa smiled and walked away. Draco sighed and looked at you. You ran your hand past his cheek and smiled at him.

'They're not sharing these important things with us? What is wrong with them?' You asked.

'At least my mum keeps us up to date. Let's just pretend we don't know.'

'That doesnt mean it's not unfair. Imagine getting to hear this the day before!'

'Luckily we didn't.. it'll be okay. Let's stay together there.' Draco smiled.

'Yeah.. we will. I love you.'

He pressed his lips against yours. You kissed him back right away. He pulled back after a moment. Draco looked at you.

'What is it you want?' He asked.

You looked at him in confusion, unsure about what he meant.

'What do you mean?' You asked.

'You made the choice to become a death eater.. but what side are you really on?'

'Draco I told you, I'm finally being accepted, if this is what I have to do.. I will.. even though I don't believe it's right. I'm a Y/L and I'm finally being loved.'

Draco sighed and moved some hair behind your ear.

'Just.. stay you.. okay?'

You smiled at him and kissed him once more.

'I always will.'
