Tree: 1. a plant
         2. ... In my opinion, a friend we used to detest because he follows Ana around, as if they were joined together at the hips. Regardless, he's become our friend and now he's... gone without a goodbye.

"Aye, got that, Captain Kruk," I whispered.

We were playing out favourite pastime-- Pirates. It's simple, we pretend we're on a stealth mission to rob or steal. Only this was real, in Analisa's house... we're going to kidnap her, Dianne and Dan. Hehe. I probably complicated it. Whatever. So, now, we were in the twins' house, lurking deep in the shadows the curtains and door created. Their main door was open for some eccentric reason, I felt like a deer in headlights in this house. It gave off a dangerous vibe.

We slipped into the room of Analisa's, and found her sitting on her bed, clearly distressed. Dan was on the floor, bu quickly sat up when Francis and I stepped out of the shadows. Francis gently closed the door and said, "Get up and let's get Dianne. We need to talk."

Analisa looked up, "If it's about Tree, he's gone whether you want to believe it or not. Here's the letter. See for yourselves."

I stared at the paper. It looked like Tree's handwriting, but upon closer inspection, the 'I's and 'R's were different. Dan and Francis must have noticed since they gasped in sync.

"Let's get Dianne," Analisa said, anxiety on her features.

We walked, or rather, ran, to Dianne's room. The door was ajar, her things still in place but there was a weird aura in the room. We Cantonese say the aura is a part of the spirit and tells about the person. The aura tells me she was in danger. She wasn't even in the room.

A feeling of dread washed over me. I stood, petrified, as Analisa searched the room. My mind was hazy and my form must be shaking.

Just where is Tree and Dianne?
