 Madran's POV

Madran got back from school and got a notification on her phone. She had given her number to Akira for as she said, "Metaverse crap", to make it so that it would be much easier to chat with him and discuss when to meet up in the palace.

Akira: Are you back home?
Madran: Almost, where are you?
Akira: Morgana's having me buy stuff for the palace
Madran: Oh, ok, when will you be ready?
Akira: I'll ask Morgana soon, he's really crazy about this

Madran completed her homework and hung out with Elia and Chicory for a bit.

"Hey, Madran, if there's anything bugging you about yesterday, then you can always talk to me."

"Ugh, I guess, since I have time."

"Ok. What is it?"

"Well, Sheila helped Ann to awaken her persona, Carmen, and what she heard Kamoshida's Shadow say was, well, rather distasteful."

"Such as?"

"Well, he blamed Ann for Shiho jumping, he acted all weird and reminded Sheila a lot of Shiini, which is never a good thing, and went to kill Ann because she rejected him."

"He reminds me of this one teacher I had, y'know, the one with the embarrassing last name, but Kamoshida is a lot more worse than him."

"Well, what haven't you told me about him?"

"True, true, but he would always flirt with us, and keep in mind, we were in, uh, 7th grade, I think."

"Yikes, that's pretty nasty."

"I just tuned him out and wished for him to quit it, because even when I let the principal know, he just shrugged me off, but it looks like y'all have a better way to deal with freaky gym dudes than I did."

"Yep, from what Philemon says, we can do a straight shot to the treasure, but we have the Trickster dude and his team to watch over."

"Wait, Akira's..."

"Yep, he's the Trickster. Philemon saw his wild card abilities and the fact that he had access to another Velvet Room which is probably run by that Igor dude. Gosh, I wish I could jump to a very quick answer as quick as Philemon can..."

"Well, think about it, he's literally born from us, so he would probably know a lot about the human and how it works. Also, from what you said, Igor's been running Velvet Rooms for awhile, so it's only natural he would find the Trickster first."

"Yep. Oh, hang on, my phone's going off."

Madran checked her phone and saw that Akira had texted her again.

Akira: Ok, we're all ready, aside from Morgana
Madran: Gotcha, I'll be right there.

Madran put her phone away.

"Well, time to go! See you soon, mom!"

"Be safe, Mad, and remember that they're just getting started, so they don't know as much as you. Mazeltov!"

"Gotcha!"

Madran and Chicory ran off to the Velvet Room, where Suga and Maya were waiting.

"Hey, guys! Where's Sheila and Philemon?"

"Philemon was off checking out Elizabeth's training thing, and Sheila's doing something."

As if on cue, Philemon stepped out from a door.

"Thank you, Elizabeth. This wild card is turning out to be quite an ordeal."

"I can fuse your other personas whenever. Oh, welcome back, Madran."
