April 20th

Madran arrived at school with Suga, Sheila, and Rosana, with them chatting about various things.

"Oh, did you see the calling cards yesterday?"

"Yeah, that was weird. I wonder who these Phantom Thieves are..."

"Me too. Hey, Rosana, how's life going?"

Rosana chuckled.

"I keep on getting weird looks whenever I look around, I guess that nobody really knows what a black person looks like."

"Eh, Japan's... odd with new arrivals from other countries. Poor Madran was bullied a bunch in primary school due to her very gypsy appearance."

"Gypsy? You mean, those traveling people around Europa?"

"Huh?"

"That weird continent with el inglés personas."

"Speak Japanese, damnit!"

Rosana snickered as they walked past Kamoshida. He gave them the usual glare, and Madran felt confused.

"Hey, why is he still... not changed?"

"We'll look into this later. For now, ignore him."

"So, gypsies from Europe. Got it."

Rosana tucked a stray lock of hair into her bun.

"Hey, Rosana, um, how was Peru?"

Rosana nodded and got a slightly hazy look in her eyes before returning to focus.

"Well, worse than here. Despite the slight racism, I like this place a lot more."

"That's good, it can be weird whenever you are moved somewhere else and don't like it."

"Amen. Hey, I gotta go, bye!"

Madran went off to deposit her bags at Kawakami's room and to chat with Ann some. Once she got there, she went to take her seat and sit next to Ann, who was working on something.

"Hey, Ann."

"Oh, hi, Madran!"

Ann looked up from her work and smiled.

"So, uh, do you have anything to ask about yesterday?"

"Yeah, sure. Um, what happened to you guys? I saw Chicory break the chandelier, but I didn't even hear you guys."

"Oh, yeah, me too. I saw Ryuji when he hit the crown off, but nothing else outside of my scans."

"Maybe, the thing you said prior about there being two things for us to chip away at locked us into two separate fights?"

"Yeah, I think that after that, I couldn't see y'all too well."

"Hmm. Oh, good morning, Mishima."

Ann turned to Mishima, who had just entered the room. He nodded and went to his seat.

"Um, how was your day?"

Madran saw that there was more silence. She then continued her conversation in a much quieter tone with Ann until the day started and Madran's attention was brought to class. As the day went by, Madran eventually found herself going to lunch and catching up with Akira.

"Hi, Akira, how are ya?"

"Good. Um, I have something to tell you, regarding what happened yesterday."

"Yeah? What is it?"

"Well, the thing is, around the beginning of May, Ryuji and I were going to get expelled."
