Down the River

Madran arrived at lunch, with everyone else arriving soon after.

"Hey, Akira, how're you doing?"

"Eh, that Makoto girl's been following me around."

"Oh, her?"

"Yeah, uh, kinda short, and longish brown hair?"

"Yep, that's her. Well, what's she been doing?"

"Let's see, she has her face buried into a book, but is constantly looking up to check for me. Then, she runs around and keeps a long distance away and acts like nothing's wrong when I call her out."

"Hmm, I wonder what she's up to."

"Maybe, she wants to figure stuff out about our secret life. I mean, from what I've heard, the principal's been pretty interested in The Phantom Thieves and The Bodacious Babes ever since his name was dirtied by the Kamoshida scandal."

Rosana sighed.

"Well, right now, we're busy at work with Fourete's palace. These two shadows have been putting us through a metaphorical representation of the nine circles of Hell."

"Wow, that's interesting. I mean, aside from the occasional Mementos job, my group hasn't been doing too much. It's nice that you're taking down a massive drug ring, though."

"Right you are, Akira."

School in a whole passed by rather quickly after lunch, as it normally did, and Madran found herself back in the Velvet Room and readying for the next infiltration.

"Hey, Philemon, what ring do you bet is next?"

"If I remember correctly, then Wrath comes after Greed."

"Hey, didn't Hariti call it Gluttony?"

"That must have been a mistake on her part."

Madran then looked over towards Maya, who was talking with Margaret. Then, after a lengthy conversation, Margaret took a few steps back and began a persona fusion, with three random personas appearing as cards and fusing together into Hell Biker.

"Wow, that just happened."

"So it may seem."

Madran then watched as Hell Biker preformed the usual persona spiel and merged with Maya in card form. After that, Maya walked over and sat down next to Madran.

"Well, now that that's done, how is everyone?"

"Good. How was the fusion?"

"Oh, it went well. Margaret does require some pretty hard cash for them, though."

Philemon chuckled and lowered his voice.

"Fortunately, for me, I can do it when I want. Just, don't tell Margaret or Elizabeth."

Maya and Madran nodded and awaited for when the rest of the group would arrive. During that, Madran began to think about what the next level would be like, and what possible connections it could have to Wrath, and how that might connect to Marcie. However, amidst the deep thought, the rest of her group had arrived, and she found herself leaving once again and arriving in the third level of Fourete's palace.

"Ok, we're back! Is everyone ready to go?"

Madran looked around to see that everyone was either nodding or looking around at the area. Madran then led everyone into the elevator and took them down to the fifth level.

"Wow, we're already halfway done. We've made great time, huh?"

"Yep! However, due to Hariti's remark, and the fact that we've given them an entire day, this next ring might be difficult."
